to operate this product in india , you need a separate jack.the phone is being sold in amazon india website, one would expect it will be conducive to plug points and jacks in india. unfortunately a big and expensive mistake in purchasing it.

Awesome phone and company
I bought this phone and loved that it opened up my life on the telephone again. I went from understanding about 1/3 of what was said to hearing everything. I loved it! When the phone broke down I was devastated, and reluctantly brought my old one back into service, but Clarity came to the rescue. Before I knew it, I had a new phone and was even credited the import charges as well. The phone came without complaint or charges, and I am tickled to be using it again!

Excellent For the Hearing Impaired
I purchased this phone for my mother who is 74 and wears a hearing aid. She loves it! I used it a few times and for my ears it can get pretty loud; in addition, the speakerphone is nice and loud too. The displays and buttons are large enough, without looking like a Fisher Price toy lol. Another excellent design is the "ear cup". Yes, it is not a basic ear phone "hole" which is hard to position by elderly with hearing aids... it is an actual "ear cup" which is large enough to fit completely over the ear and hearing aid. Very good phone!

Not enough of an improvement
Product was purchased for my mother, who wears hearing aids in both ears, but did not think the quality of sound/volume was improved over her regular phone. We tried every combination of tonality and volume offered, hearing aid in and out and she felt it just didn't make a sufficient difference to merit keeping it. It was returned without a problem.

Definitely does not amplify sound
The shipping and the seller were fine on this item but the item itself is not suitable for a senior citizen with hearing problems the head set is extremely heavy and the sound does not amplify. Do not waste your money
