Work perfect for my 95 f150
Worked perfect on my 95 for my f150 300 six or 4.9 which ever you prefer. Comes with detailed instruction and all parts to rebuild the alternator. make sure you have a way to get the big nut of the pulley. The kit comes in a box not on the card. I give it 5 stars for value and quality.

Good kit for my 1995 Mustang 5.0
My alternator completely died after intermittant functionality. I looked online to determine the problem was either the voltage regulator, or the alternator. Buying a new or refurbed alternator includes a new voltage regulator, but so does this kit. I actually thought it was the regulator, so I bought this kit.In my case the continuity of the rotor was bad. It was a simple broken solder joint that I was able to repair. I had to disassemble the alternator to fix it, so I went ahead and used all the parts from this kit to reman the unit. You need a small bearing puller to use this kit, and also an impact gun to get the pulley off. My bearings were a little noisy, and the rotor brushes were worn, so I'm glad I went to the extra effort. Mechanics wont even do this kind of work, they just put a new one in. But it is well worth the time in order to preserve an original Motorcraft alternator. Now I just have to deal with the aftermarket water pump that almost immediately failed after installation :/I learned a few things that I would like to pass on:Before buying this kit, and after doing the appropriate tests with the alternator in the car (many guides online), perform two additiinal tests to determine if it is the voltage regulator or alternator itself. Do a diode test, and check continuity of the windings on both the stator and the rotor. The stator/rotor continuity tests require removing the alternator and taking the voltage regulator off. Many guides online on how to perform these tests.
