Bike Mount for Otterbox Defender Series - iPhone 7 Plus (5.5") Encased Products (case Not Included)

I'm really enjoy using this. Before, I had to carry my iPhone 6 in my seat bag. When I got a 7Plus, there was not room for it. This holds my phone securely on the handlebars. It is a little difficult to get out of the holder, but if it weren't it wouldn't be as secure as it is. I'm very happy with this purchase. The bike mount arrived in time and in great shape.Update: I know this is unavailable now, but if it does become available, you need to be careful on very bumpy roads. The holder attachment came away at the release point, and my phone went flying. It was ok, as the Otterbox saved it. I always worry about going over bumpy bridges, and having it fly off again and falling into the lake/down the embankment. Again, this may never become available again, but wanted to update my original review.

Fits the iPhone 8 Plus Defender case well.However fell off twice due to road vibrations.Luckily, the phone was protected by the Otterbox case. However if this is if this it happened on the road where cars were coming by it could’ve been a disaster.They need to improve the clip or something to make this thing stay on correctly.Good idea but the clip does not work correctly it’s not the clamp to the bicycle handlebars... that works fine... it’s the phone case to the bicycle clamp part that comes right off if you are on a bumpy road.Better product testing guys!

For the most part this has worked great for my otterbox defender. However there have been a few occasions when the phone mount would get jostled off the mounting bracket and come crashing into the ground.

I bought this for my road bike and only ride on paved roads and paths. The ring you screw to tighten it eventually cracked in half. Unfortunately I could find a spare part for it and decide to just use a see through bike bag instead. It was nice while it lasted but just didn’t last as long as I hoped.

This mount fit my iPhone 7 plus in its Otterbox Defender case perfectly. I had planned to mount this on my bicycle, but after seeing how solid and rugged it is, I instead put this on my motorcycle. It holds tight and does not move at all even over the rough California roads, and the vibration of that big twin engine. I'd say this is a keeper and highly recommended.

Some of the measurements were a little misleading in the description but for my purpose it works perfectly. A little about my purpose, I am using it to hold my iPhone 7 plus on a mountain bike that I am using as a stationary bike trainer. No bumps or jarring as you would experience out on the street or trail, but for what I am doing the mount locks on to my handlebars like a vise. The swivel ball mount allows me to tilt and position the phone to whatever angle I need to see what I am doing and it stays there once you tighten up the tension ring.Overall, a solid purchase!

I ordered 2 of these and both arrived together,one was a complete unit having both the phone holder and the bicycle handle mount, the other arrived with only the case and no handle bar mount. I now have to ship back the incomplete unit for a credit and re-order. Since this was part of a larger order not only am I inconvenienced but I will have to pay shipping charges unless I combine it with other items. The complete unit seems well made the quality control in their shipping department leaves much to be desired.

I can't leave an accurate review . There was no manual with this so I don't know if my product is defective & won't open fully or I'm not doing it right so I can't use it at this time .

Wrong bloody size - for an iPhone 7 - I have a 5c and that was not clear on the description - waste of money.
