Powerful iPad Hard-Shell Case & Full Function Keyboard
Looking for a high-quality keyboard and case for your iPad? I have had similar cases to this in past and been pleased. This is a new case for my new iPad M5 11”. So far, I am very pleased. The hard-shell case protects your iPad extremely well without overly increasing size and weight of the iPad by itself. The keyboard is backlit with many colours available and two brightness levels & off, and the keys feel very comfortable for typing. The thing that sets this keyboard above any others I’ve seen is it’s multitude of functions, shortcut keys, and combo keys; they offer far more then the basic functions available with the onscreen keyboard, and usual iOS functions. The 360° swivel makes it so easy to use in every conceivable position. The addition of a touchpad mouse plus the touchscreen gives you the best of both worlds. I would readily highly recommend this keyboard and case.

Makes my iPad work like a laptop!
Great little keyboard case! I’ve had this for about 3 months now and use it every day at work, as well as personally at home. I work in the medical field and carry it around and use it to enter records, so have logged a lot of hours on this. The keys have great touch quality and all of the main shortcuts work easily. It is backlit and has good controls. It keeps a good long charge with a standard usb-C charger. The trackpad is smooth and works well. The swivel and tilt features work well. There is a central hinge where the screen turns and folds. Initially I was worried about this as I thought it might break easily. However, it is surprisingly stable and tight. That said, because of the swivel features and the turning capability on a single point in the center, the iPad does jiggle when touched or with heavy typing. I’ve gotten used to this and it doesn’t bother me as most laptops have some jiggle. The iPad stays tight in the case itself and actually folds and functions much like my co-workers’ folding laptops. It is plastic, but is holding up very well. I use it frequently for multiple hours at a time, but haven’t dropped it and do carry it back and forth to work in a bag. It has soft plastic “feet” on the bottom, much like a regular laptop and is very sturdy on table surfaces. I have paid significantly more for other keyboards, but this actually makes my iPad function more like a laptop and I have been pleased with it.

Pretty good case
I love this keyboard, and it does a pretty good job of protecting my iPad. No problems with bluetooth connections.. it connects to my iPad pretty quickly. The letter spacing is a bit awkward at first but if you type a lot on it you'll get used to it quickly. I do have a couple issues with this case though, but I won't say they're necessarily deal breakers. More so just things to be aware of. 1. The mouse pad is awful. It's a bit laggy, slow, and imprecise. Not a huge deal if you don't mind just tapping the screen, which I usually do anyway. 2. When writing something, moving the cursor throughout a sentence using the arrow keys is painfully slow. Most keyboards will speed up the pace at which your cursor is moving if you hold it down long enough, but not this one. It moves as slowly as if you're just pushing the key over and over again rather than holding it down. It can get annoying when your finger can't quite tap the location precisely, or if for some reason the document you're on won't let you use your finger. 3. Its battery life isn't terrible, but it isn't amazing either. I'd say I can usually get about seven to eight hours of use from it before it starts to die. I like that it'll turn itself off if it isnt being used, though, to protect its battery life. 4. The paint scratched off a bit in the corners of the case, but it's not to terribly noticeable. 5. Can be difficult to get the iPad out of the case, but I guess that's also a good thing depending on how you look at it. Overall it's a pretty solid case and I'd recommend it to anyone who asked. My brother got one for himself and loves it. Perfect to cover in stickers.

Good choice, worth the cost
Great case, a little heavy but very sturdy. Pacific blue color is beautiful. Great lighted keyboard. I did have trouble with the swivel right out of the box. It is very stiff at first and I thought I was going to break it, but yay 😁 I didn’t. Nice options for ways to use the case with or with using keyboard.

Great bang for the buck
This is the third iPad keyboard case I have had from Typecase and they have all been great. I had one for my previous iPad 5 and iPad 7, and just got this one for my iPad Pro 11. The value for what you get for what you pay is awesome. There may not be a better value for performance and price paid. The case fits my iPad perfectly. It is snug but not too tight and it offers more protection than the Apple Magic Keyboard. The keys light up in multiple selectable colors and in three different intensities. I love this because part of my job is done in a very dark environment so this comes in very handy. The trackpad works well too. My previous two Typecase cases just had a keyboard and no trackpad so this is an awesome upgrade. Now my iPad functions basically like a laptop. I LOVE the number of ways you can position this too. It works like a laptop or you can turn the screen around and it stays up to watch a show. You can also turn it around and lay it flat if you want to hold it on your lap with no keyboard. Yes, at a certain angle (45ish degrees) it will get too top heavy and tip over, but that’s just physics and no fault of this case. Pros: - great keyboard — responsive and the keys are not too hard nor too mushy - lighted keyboard in multi colors - easy connection and set up (took less than 20 seconds) - good battery life - the almost endless number of positions - tap to click - two-finger tap (right mouse button) Cons: - trackpad is a little sensitive which took some getting used to (the cursor moves a little quicker than my Macbook but it’s still very controllable) - the trackpad “click” sound is a little loud (I don’t mind it but in a quiet room it might be a little annoying) — but I just use tap to click so this really isn’t an issue unless you want to use the full click Overall, the Cons are just minor annoyances and the benefits far outweigh them.I love this case and still gladly give it 5 stars. It is tremendous value and I highly recommend it to anyone with an iPad. The previous two I stopped using only because the iPads became obsolete at work. (My kids use them now so they are still going strong.) I’ve been so happy with this and I would absolutely purchase it again.

Great value for the price and works very well
Great value for the price and works very well. A much less expensive option that the Apple keypad and a good trackpad as well. It does more than double the weight of my IPad Air 11" but it makes for a great laptop substitute when you need it in a very small package and still lets you use the touch screen and Apple Pen.

You get what you pay for…
I realllllyyyy wanted to like this keyboard. I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally decided to pull the trigger on the purchase when I realized carrying my 16inch MacBook Pro to school was more cumbersome than I’d like. However, this keyboard is very cheaply made and feels like it will break sooner rather than later. While I understand it’s only $60 bucks or so, I don’t have much faith in the products quality. The con’s for me are: It’s hard plastic so as you’re rotating the device between the keyboard and the tablet it’s so stiff that it feels unnatural to twist. Almost like it’s not made to rotate when that’s this products key feature and selling point — the ability to use between a “laptop” view and a tablet view. It’s also a bit imbalanced so you will feel a slight give, or push down in the tablet view as you’re writing because the keyboard is not flush to the back of the tablet in the tablet view. Again, another one of those instances where you feel it’s unnatural. Also, speaking of the keyboard, the trackpad is also very stiff to press onto and if you ask me, only works when you press down towards the very bottom, it’s not responsive all over. The pro’s for me were the concept of this products design. I love that even though it feels unnatural, it’s still doable. I’ve been able to go between typing and writing quickly which was what I needed. I also love the backlit keyboard — the ability to change the colors and the brightness is amazing. I love that even though this is compact, it’s still doable to adjust to ergonomically. The compact keyboard it’s too compact that typing feels off, I was able to quickly acclimate my muscle memory with the set up. I also love that it has a pencil holder on the side. All in all, if you need a cheap temporary solution for school or work, it’s to maximize the versatility of an iPad, this is a great start at its current price. Otherwise, I wouldn’t pay over $60 for it. I’d recommend finding something else that may be better quality.

Good for its price
I love the idea of this keyboard, if you want a cheaper option and don’t want to spend too much on the Apple keyboard this is a good dupe. I love how you can rotate it and I love the backlit feature especially when you are typing in the dark. The only complains I have are the trackpad. And the clicking sound is too loud for me and sounds really tacky. The weight is also a little heavy but not too unbearable. Overall for its price it is a very good option. Setting it up is easy nothing complicated, the quality is a little cheap because it’s just plastic, but it looks very cute and simple.
