This solar powered wind chime would be a nice gift for friend or family or just for yourself. It is approx 40 inches long. Mine has been hanging over a year on a front porch with a eastern exposure to the sun. Freezing winter temps have not caused a problem. Metal parts do not have rust or corrosion (so far). Sunny days result in full battery charge and several hours of pretty geometric light display after dark. The sun feature lights up; the moon has perforations that produce geometric patterns as the light shines thru them. Cloudy days result in little to no power built up, so there's little to no light display at night, which should be expected. The chime aspect makes a very pleasing sound and of course relies on wind power, not solar. So it plays anytime 24/7 soft/loud depending on wind velocity. Set up is a no brainer. Simply take it out of the box and hang it where it can get the most amount of sun.
