Abu Garcia for life
Inexpensive rods that are lightweight. I have over 20+ rods and Abu is my brand of choice. Could use better guides in my opinion but overall satisfied

Feel
I enjoy the balance and feel of this pole. I accidentally broke my pole, so I bought another one. Great price for a great pole.

Grip is horrible
These newer Vendetta rods have the worst grips on them. It is short, it is skinny, and they are slick. Nearly lost the rod a few times while casting, and setting the hook. The rod is ok as a lower end rod. Ok sensitivity, and seem to be fairly tough. I have the Med/Mod and have caught a few bass in the 3-4 lb range on it, and it handled them just fine. I have somewhat fixed the grip issue with Winn wrap. Nothing I can really do about the length, but the wrap added a little bulk, and a lot of grip. The rod is no longer slipping from my hand during casts, and hook sets. Couple months later, and I have fixed the length issue. I just wrapped the Winn wrap around, and around until it was the same thickness as the rest of the grip. I was hesitant to try this, as I thought it probably wouldn't stay in place very long. I didn't want to trash that much of the rod wrap if it started slipping back and forth. But, it has stayed right behind the original grip without issue. Now I really have a better grasp on this rod. I don't have huge hands either, so I have no idea how people with big hands are dealing with these handles. Before I did all of this I was actually considering just throwing the rod in the dumpster. After using this rod for a while now, and trying it with a variety of lures, I have come to the realization that it really has a hard time meeting the lower end of it's lure weight tolerance. They claim it is good for lures down to 1/4 oz. In my experience it really has a hard time loading up with any lures under 10 grams. Anything lighter, and I start running into issues with casts going almost nowhere, and bird nests.
