This heats fast and hot, different tempos seem to work. However, the cord is so stiff it stays curled and the plug pulls out of the wall. It doesn`t matter how many times I uncurl it! Since this does get super hot, the stiff cord flop has caused me to burn myself because my hair is so short. Other people have complained that their hair product build up on the rod. I have not had that yet but I do wipe it off aftyer use becaause I kind of expect this with it getting so hot.Good for tiny curls.

For long hair separate curled hair by pulling apart for short hair use fingers or wide toothed pick. Works great but can get messy looking till you find the best way to manage your curles

Have to be careful with using this curling iron. It can burn hair out and dry it out use with caution.Gets very hot at lowest temperature

I have very short hair and I needed a small barrel curling iron .I checked in stores but couldn't find one so I decided to look at AMAZON. I love it, it is nice and small and easy to use.
