Seacret From the Dead Sea Body Lotion Ocean 6.8 Oz

I don’t leave many reviews, but I’m disappointed in this product. I received this as a gift about 10 years ago and loved the fresh clean smell and consistency. This however, is nothing like the lotion I remember loving. This smells as if it’s really old and “soured” and the consistency is super runny and is hard to rub into the skin. It looked like I had applied sunscreen it was so white on the skin. I’m not sure if they have changed the formulation, or if this is indeed an old batch. Either way, I’m a bit let down as the old one was perfect!!!

I don't think I've ever written an Amazon review before but this product was a complete rip-off. I bought it under the impression that it would be the same lotion I've found in mall kiosks. It may have been at one point but not any longer. It smelled awful: cheap and cloying. The consistency was thin and watery and it did nothing for my skin. Don't waste your time on this lotion. I ended up purchasing dead sea salt to make my own scrub and then using Bliss body butter and the results are similar to what I wanted from this lotion.

This product was delivered in a pouch to my door. I brought the pouch right after it was delivered it was very hot to the touch and sticky. I open the pouch and the cream was all over the inside. I wiped off the tube of cream and discovered that the cream had pushed up and out of the tube. The tube was very hot as well. I believe this pouch was not in the proper climate, as it was extremely hot and the cream expanded forcefully and pushed out of the top and underneath the lid.

Was a huge fan of the original- they have since changed their “look” and seem to have changed their formula as well. Not as smooth and silky or moisturizing as the original product. Won’t be buying again.

Smells like baby powder or deodorant. Not Ocean Mist. Not an enjoyable scent. If you're looking for that sea mineral or ocean scent there are better products by "Amazon's Choice".

As I was walking through the mall one day, one of the vendors approached me and proceeded to squeeze out one of these scents on my hand. I thought, whatever, it's free, why not? Little did I know. This scent is extraordinarily soft, like the breeze of one of the purest seas out there, but lingering. Hours later, my hands remained supple and moisturized, and I really enjoyed the scent. It's light, smells as close to the ocean as possible with a slight hint of florals thrown in there. Not sweet, not powerfully floral, just a water scent I suppose. Anyway, you just have to smell it for yourself, because my scent describing skills are pretty much non-existent, but once you do, you'll fall for it like I did.

I absolutely love this stuff!!! I have purchased it several times over the years. It smells amazing and feels great. The thing I like the most about it is that it gets rid of the small bumps that my brother and I get on our upper arms!
