Brother TN-315 Toner Cartridge ( Black,Cyan,Magenta,Yellow , 4-Pack )

We always buy OEM toner for our business printers and copiers. After 20 years and a few fits with third-party refillers, we've learned our lessons. I am the Purchaser and I shop for the best pricing every day. But I don't skimp on printer toner or ink because of these experiences. Eventually, every refill supplier has let us down with clogged or empty or malfunctioning cartridges.And another thing -- Brother recycles for free! Just register online and you can print out a Postage Paid Label to return these when empty.Speaking of "empty", the over-zealousness of the automated "Out of Toner" messages on these printers is the one thing that drives me crazy. Simply search online for instructions on "How to bypass out of toner warnings" and you can save hundreds of dollars in new cartridges. I have put this mandate into effect at work and Retail cartridges (not to be confused with Starter cartridges) can be made to last for WEEKS after receiving an "Out of Toner" warning. All you typically need to do is open the cartridge door, hit MENU, then walk your way through a simple button-selection scenario to "Reset Cartridge Count". Close the door, and that's it! Some instructions may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer (or not at all), but on every Brother MFC that we own, it works great!And one more thing -- Brother printers were NEVER my favorite years ago. I hated them because the driver installations were a real pain. No longer! After 10 years of using Brother laser printers in our office, I've gained empirical wisdom and have noticed they last far longer than many of their competitors. We've had no weird Sudden Death Syndrome, or Maintenance Kit Costs More Than the New Printer scenarios. They just work! And for years on end. Our Staff loves them. I even had to seek out a used version or two online, just to put on the shelf as spares because our Staff doesn't want to switch when the time comes. By contrast, I've brought in HP and Canon units that simply went bust after a few months. I know everybody's mileage will vary. I'm just reporting from our experience.

These are the real brother toner cartridges. Last time I purchased the lower cost imitation, "just-like" Brother toner cartridges, and it was a mess, not just to install, but constantly bleeding on the pages, on-going chore to clean up the mess. These are worth the expense. Fast delivery.

These cartridges are simple in replace and install.AT first I was intimidated by the instructions, and kept stalling with replacing the cartridge until my printer no longer printed.The cartridges are high yield toner. My original cartridges were from 2012.I so love my laser printer, as I do NOT have the dreaded problem of dried out printing heads that are frequent with Ink Jets.I won't mind changing cartridges once every 6 years.

This review was written for the authentic Brother TN315 Toner Cartridge set of 4 that I have purchased several times. But not all of the reviews here are for that product. Once again, Amazon combines reviews from several different products with utter disregard for the fact that the products may, and often are quite different in quality and performance. That reduces usefulness of reviews, but doesn't seem to change this common practice.In this order, I received one toner cartridge (TN315Y - Yellow) in the set that leaked ink powder all over the machine and left streaks down both sides of a portrait oriented document. As directed, I have cleaned the corona wires many times, and now even changed out the drum. It was the cartridge. This was confirmed when I replaced the TN315Y cartridge for a new one, and issues stopped. These genuine Brother toner cartridges are far too expensive to be throwing away/recycling almost new toner cartridges. And I see that this issue is one that is Not new for Brother toner cartridges. Perhaps it happens more frequently with knock-offs, but it Definitely happens with genuine Brother products as well... No matter what Brother says!!These genuine Brother toner cartridges (and even the drum) are easily replaced with minimal step-by-step instructions on/in the package. Print quality is high, IF there is no leakage. If there is leakage of ink powder and streaking... clean the corona wires as suggested by Brother Will Not Work... it is very likely a defective cartridge.2021/2022 UPDATE: Contacting Brother Service (sic) resulted in lots of "information collection" directions... which actually had nothing to do with service. Brother's Dis-Service Dept was disrespectful and utterly contemptuous, not in tone but in substance and result... at the end of the information collection process, Brother Dis-Service Dept made it crystal clear that they never had any intention of accepting any responsibility for this issue (an issue well documented in multiple other reviews - please read and believe them), attempting to trouble shoot why this was happening, or resolving it in any way, shape or form. The Brother Dis-Service Dept irrelevant, "cut n paste" responses in their emails is offensive, disrespectful and bad business! Question: Is it also just a way to run out the clock on any possible warranty? Quite possibly. This was the second issue which Brother non-Service Dept failed to resolve, or even came close to resolving. I have been brand loyal to Brother printer/office products -- No More! IF YOU HAVE AN OFFICE... Please know that if you "stock up" on Brother products so you are not caught without toner during a critical project, those Brother products will likely be beyond any hope of warranty or support by the time you use them. Therefore, de facto.. there really is No warranty on these products. If these Brother products damage or make a mess of your office products or office... Oh Well! BUYER BEWARE!

I've tried two brands of aftermarket toner cartridges for my Brother printer and they just didn't perform even close to as well as the original Brother brand toners do. One of those I tried caused me to have frequent request by the printer to clean or replace the Corona wires. This printer gets heavy use, (15K+ pages so far), and I want it to continue to work for a long time. Not taking any chances of using those other toners and having them damage something else in the system because of problems they cause.

The original Brothers toner cartridges for my color laser printer worked fine. They're quite expensive, but I guess there's no other choice unless you go generic, but I didn't want to risk it. At over $400, the cartridges cost more than the original price of the printer. .Each time I replace, I need to read instructions carefully, as it's a bit involved, but all went well.

I was looking in all the various on-line shopping sites and this was by far the most affordable in price for original Brother cartridges. Often when something is too good to be true . . it's not. In this case, "it is true". Very fast shipping and the product was exactly as described . . original Brother cartridges. I will be checking with this company first before buying anything for my printers/computer.
