Q: Will this run an m400?

Amazon had a power supply for a m400. Did you enter that info in the search box? 243 bucks. My first one that came with the unit only lasted a year. It is used a a city pool though.

Q: is there a way to reprogram this? (running only 1 hour now)

Yes. You can run from 1-3 hours. Manual will give you a few options.

Q: Can the power supply be left out in the rain?

It is not supposed to be wet but I have left mine out in the rain several times forgetting to cover it and it still works fine
