Nice to have UV/IR combined. Good quality little piece which can make a big difference in certain scenarios. Optically coated giving a blueish reflection.

der ring selber ist ein wenig schwierig auf das ein oder andere objektiv zu bringen, weil das gewinde sehr fein ist, aber der filter macht was er soll. kein ghosting oder ähnliches. auf allen blackmagic kameras ohne ir cut eine gute preiswerte alternative. schwierig soll es bei internen nd filter oder nd filter in adaptern sein, was aber auch voll ok aussieht. ich hab kein ghosting endeckt. der filter soll ja eigentlich direkt vor dem sensor liegen. geht aber trotzdem gaz gut. einen grün stich hat man auch bei den teuren filtern, was aber normal ist und das komplementär zu magenta ist. der filter hat ja eine magenta artige beschichtung. außerdem würde man das auch so ohne filter korrigieren, wenn man den red pollution effekt im bild hat und den filter nicht genutz hat. der grünstich ist aber einfacher zu eliminieren als den rötlichen ton. ergo, gelungener filter für knapp 40 euro.

I use this in conjunction with a 70-200 lens and a Daystar Quark for solar observation. It helps reduce some of the solar energy entering the lens. I would recommend this and will replace it with the same if the current one gets damaged.

If infrared pollution is an issue with your camera when using some ND filter, that little IR filter might be just the thing you need to keep your image clean!

I have used this filter in many different light situations and I can’t complain. Good color accuracy and definitely kills any IR pollution. I have used together a sandwich of ND’s and no IR pollution
