Solved the problemBought one somewhere else that looked like brass. Installed it. It snapped off with very low torque.Careful ladies, these things are fragile. A quarter turn past finger tight, NO MORE!This one looks like aluminum. Maybe they decided to make out of a softer metal in case Magilla Gorilla snaps it off. Or because aluminum is a better heat conductor.It goes in easy, don't overtighten, it fixed my problem.

solved a client's ford escape overheating problem by replacing this (the fans wont turn on). the bad thing is that you need a special tool to take it out but i figured another way by watching a youtube video.

The one that arrived was made out of aluminum not brass. It sheared off during installation. I installed it by finger tightening. No tools involved and it still sheared off
