How do the blinds work with this bracket in place ?

The bracketes don’t interfere with blinds in any way. The bracket fits around the wide part so blinds are free to move. I’ve not had any problems with my blinds. Hope that helps

Will this work for a 1" head rail??

You will need the NoNO Bracket Mini Bracket for 1" blinds.

Can the lower part of the bracket be flipped over and installed on top of the piece that holds the curtain rod? I need to lower the screw head to fit.
