My cat loved this especially the hidden ball with the bell. Unfortunately, after two weeks of play the ball fell off and the bell disappeared in the bottom of the stand. My cat is not interested in the high ball at the top. All in all it is pretty cheap. The white roping on top is separating and is coming away at the very top. The bottom part is loosening and has come away from the stand. It is still pretty stable but already looks like what it is..a cheap scratch post that is no fun anymore. I will say that it does get used for what it was sold as, a scratching post, and that may be its only saving grace. If you are purchasing it as I did to also serve as fun thing to play with you will likely be as disappointed as both I and my cat are. If you just want a scratch post just buy one that will last and likely be less expensive.

Overall I like this product for my cat, however only 2 concerns I should mention.1. The product name plate. IMO Should be removed or placed on the base. First day, my cat got one of his claws trapped behind it and I had to come forcibly remove it.2. As shown in picture, it’s a nice looking cat scratcher, but the top half only stays nice and clean looking for the first 2 weeks. Maybe explore more options to get those to stay a bit longer.Overall, My cat loves this post and the hanging ball inside, that was a nice touch. He goes berserk playing with it.So far this purchase was worth the $30-35 I spent on it.

This scratching post is manufactured with low quality materials. It was showing wear and tear after the first day my cat used it. I did not return it because it took too much time to assemble. Do not recommend for cats with claws.

My kitten love the ball in the hole. This would have been just right if a sturdier fabric had been used

Talk and sturdy great for larger cats. The larger base keeps it stable. Fits with my decor. Rugged design.

Sturdy product and appreciated even by my ancient cat. The toy not of interest to him, but I would imagine it might be to many others. Recommend.

Cat has only used it once and it already falling apart with sharp staples showing.

This post is sturdy and my kitten enjoys playing on it. I love that there is a hole on the bottom half for an additional toy, but the ball and bell that is inside the hole needs to be on a stick or something that stays up for the kitten to actually see.

We have many different types of scratching posts and my 4 cats seem to really prefer this one. The different textures, the little hole with jingly bell, and even being able to climb and sit on top.
