Great reading lamp!
This is not my first Balanced Spectrum floor lamp. I like this so much I ordered another one. This provides better light for reading than many other lamps I have tried. It has two levels of brightness, and I use both interchangeably according to how much light I need. You have to assemble the lamp as it arrives unassembled, but it's really not hard to do, and I'm a 70-year-old woman. Once assembled, the height of the lamp is perfect for my needs, as I have it right next to my recliner, where I do most of my reading. Now that I've found this, I can't imagine using any other reading lamp.

It's too short to be of any use to me...
It's only 4 feet tall. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. So it's not really of any use to me. And this is a strange looking light. The "light bulbs" hang down. It's just a very strange light fixture. I should have returned it.

Good lighting
I use this lamp as a light source by my sewing machine. It is a replacement lamp for the same type of lamp that ‘died’. It is important to have a lamp like this for ‘true color ‘ when sewing. It came quickly and the package was in very good shape.

A great light.
This is my 2nd Full Spectrum Lamp. Had my first on for about 20-years before it wore out so am happy to just get my 2nd one yesterday. My wife loves to read by it. Couldn't wait for this new one to come after my first one quit working.She's happy now.

This is my second purchase of this reading lamp for my husband. He loves it so much I got another for another location.

Naughty word potential
If you are prone to swearing, I would avoid this. The electrical cord that runs through the support pole is very thick and quite inflexible. You will need to push some of the excess cord back into the support column....kind of aggravating. I also found it somewhat difficult to screw on the top section. I looks ok when it is together, and is fairly sturdy. The 27w light is dimmer than I expected.

Great Reading Lamp
It works really well. It even helps with the rest of the room when on. Full spectrum light (day light) is the best way to go!

Great Lamp
This was a gift for my mother. She always had one of these in one room that is still working great after many years of use. She wanted another one for another location. She loves it!
