just what tank needed
Was due for 25% water exchange and ran circulation pump first, overnight and water was clearer. Have much more surface movement which is what I was after. I first installed upside down but after looking at pictures on box and manual re- mounted. there was a tornado above unit when upside down. I have the 500 model in 36-gallon tank works great.

Nice but big holes
This works good but the holes around the propeller are to open and I’m pretty sure I had some fish hit the fan!! Also shrimp could def get their legs caught in there

Not to strong
All my other wave makers blast away like crazy. These send a gentle current through the tank (60 gallon). I use one for surface and one mid level. No complaints here
