I just received my NexImage 10 Cam and found this is super easy to use if you follow these steps. First and foremost don't use the disk with software on it, it needs to go in the trash. The software is just way to old.Go to the ICap site and download the newest Drivers and Software for this camera. Once that's done install the new drivers and a new copy of ICap, in that order. If you don't update your drivers first you may have issues having the camera recognized when you open ICap. You can also use other software like FireCap. So far my new Cam is up and running within minutes.Don't shy away from this camera, it's a good camera for newbies and experienced alike. And one other bit of information, make sure to use the USB3 port on your computer. My USB3 port(s) are marked with SS and the USB symbol.Its all very easy, just make sure that you don't use the disk in the box and DO use the NEW drivers and Software on the ICap site.My computer is an older laptop running Windows 10, I am guessing that Windows 11 would be just as easy. Sorry I don't know how to set this up on a Mac but I bet that the steps are the same or very close.My only issue with this camera is the old software included in the box. Clear skies....

Well... just submitted return...It doesn't work. (maybe I am too dumb to get it work)I was lucky. (beside being unlucky that the cam doesn't work) that I got this cam delivered on a Thursday night.And I got a chance to go try it on Friday night.I was using Celestron NexStar 5 SE Telescope, not too high end, but at least decent.I went to East Hampton, Long Island, NY. It was a clear night. I know there is some light pollution.I couldn't see the Milky Way. But I could see Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter with bare eyes already.I tried all the program and connections stuff of the webcam to PC before going there already.I made sure the cam is connected.HOWEVER, I was getting some weird image at home, like I attached already.All I saw was horizontal black & white static-like stripes image.But I didn’t put that on a telescope at home, just try to view anything at home, to make sure it is connected to the PC.The picture attached is I pointing the cam right under the lamp.Somehow it picked up things very dark, unless I pointing it right under the lights.I “hoped” I was getting static stripes because the cam is supposed to view through a telescoped reflectional (or refractional) like image (stuffs like that), not supposed to shoot nakedly.Back to that night.I started off trying to take picture of Mars. I could see the Mars pretty bright in the scope. (well, still small, but bright)But when I switched off the eye piece to the cam, all I got was just a dark image, it didn’t pick up anything.I though it was because my telescope sucks. (not $2xxx ones)So the image got into the scope is not bright enough for the cam.Then I try to take the Moon.This time, the Moon is very bright and big in my eye piece. (you all know how easy to get big & bright image of the Moon in telescope)BUT when I switched off my eye piece to the cam.I got something like the picture I attached. Horizontal black & white static-like stripes image.I am not saying it is so bad (well, bad enough I need to return)Cause this is not something I can use any time anywhere. I need to get a night, drive to wilderness, and use my telescope to TRY IT.I was “lucky” I could try it right after I got it.I don’t want to spend time figure out is that my problem or really this one is malfunction, give it another try in who knows how much later.And the time limit to refund it is passed already.So I better refund it when I can.
