Q: Regarding the clear version, for installation in a treehouse, could you see stars through it?

We have ours installed in our outdoor shower which is not used much in the dark. That being said the plastic is very clear and I can see clouds through it. So my guess would be yes to seeing stars.

The SL1422 has flange dimensions of 18" x 26" which would be slightly shorter than the flange dimensions that you provided. Looking on the Icon Direct website, there is another skylight option with the flange dimensions of 19" x 29" (SL1525).
