Vulcan 550 Not Very Durable.
The black Vulcan 550 possesses good power and excellent control. It is however made of fiberglass. After playing 4 rounds of pickleball this black paddle's surface on both sides sustained dozens of chips. Not only was the surface chipped on both sides the paddle edge broke. Besides all of these shortcomings the grip is too large for a medium sized hand.A complaint made directly to Vulcan Sales offered very little. Vulcan is working on it.Email from Sales Management: "We have found that the paint does chip a little when using an outdoor ball on the paddle models with the black paint. Sorry to hear that you are disappointed. Let me know if you need anything. I will relay to the product and development team. They are working on this and hopefully you will give us another shot to earn your approval."I play 5-6 days a week. What would it look like after a playing it for a month?Applied for an immediate refund and went back to my Selkirk Maxima Composite. Hardly a scratch after playing it for two years.Do NOT buy this paddle unless you are very confident of getting a refund from the seller.

Fast and nimble.
Extremely nimble. Noticeably less air resistance swinging this paddle vs a regular paddle. Took a couple games to get used to, but now I wont go back to the classic profile.
