LG Graphite Steel Front Load Laundry Pair with WM8100HVA 29" Washer and DLEX8100V 29" Electric Dryer

I'm very impressed with these units. The measurements listed on this page were 0.6" taller than stated with the stacking kit, which was a PITA, but thats not the appliances faulty its the listing.10 out of 10. Would do again.

Had problem with dryer. The heating element shorted out and arked over to my washer, causing them to weld together. Called LG and I'm still waiting for someone to come to service it. It's been almost three weeks..!!!! Still waitingWill up date when someone comes for the repair

I have had the LG Graphite Steel Front Load washer and dryer for almost a year now. The washing machine cleans so much better than the Samsung washer it replaced! The spin cycle dries out the towels much more and the dryer doesn't take as long to dry them. I am extremely happy with this purchase and the color is beautiful!

Had these for 8 months now. The dryer heater / controller went out after 7 months of very light use. Only do wash ever two weeks or so. Controls for these units are clunky at best. When they startup, they go to a default setting, and then you have to turn the selectors twice to get them to move to different selection.They don't wash clothes any better than the 10's of other units I have owned. I spent HOURS on the phone with LG support in trying to get service on the Dryer when the heat element went out. So don't expect much in the way of customer service. Waited 3 weeks for a repair tech to show up, and he was not very enthused to have to replace the heat exchange, acted like it was normal for these units to have this problem.I would recommend steering clear of LG washers and dryers. They are very expensive and normally you get what you pay for, but not true in the case of LG appliances. The only good thing is I prevented several others in the extended family from making the same mistake.
