Great Recreational Dive Watch!
UPDATE @ 09/14/25: I have never changed, or added an addendum, to a previous review I’ve written. However, this particular watch is absolutely remarkable in its accuracy. I realize that I was very fortunate when I acquired this particular watch to end up with an automatic mechanism that is so accurate because, by their very nature, the identical automatic mechanisms are not always “identical” in terms of their accuracy. A dear friend of mine had a Presidents Rolex which he would reset every day because it would be off by several minutes. Perhaps his watch was an anomaly, however, I have owned enough automatic manual watches to know their mechanisms can vary greatly. But a couple years later this watch’s accuracy is still remarkable! Finally, I noticed one reviewer, which gave it one star, said it wasn’t a real sapphire crystal. I have worn this watch virtually every single day for the last two plus years. I have worn it while using just about every woodworking power tool imaginable; I wear it while weed eating; I have hit the crystal (accidentally) on a number of hard, even metallic, surfaces and to this day there is not one scratch on it (not even microscopic). In addition, I noticed that some said their watch arrived in a paper envelope and not even in a box. That would be unacceptable obviously! Mine however arrived in a nice presentation box inside of a cardboard box surrounded by protective paper wrapping. I wish everyone purchasing this watch could have the same experience I have had. Again, it has been a truly remarkable time piece! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have owned many many automatic/manual watches in my life with most being Dive watches. Of all the Dive watches I’ve owned this is by far one of my very favorite (and least expensive). While I have owned Dive watches that were much more massive (in size and weight) this watch does have a nice feel to it while not being too massive. In addition, I was unexpectedly surprised to discover how accurate the movement of this particular watch is. Since receiving it; this watch has remained so accurate that I would not bother resetting it except about once every week and even then the adjustment would be a matter of less than 30 seconds. Considering the normal “expected” accuracy of the movement used in this watch; the accuracy I experienced is quite reasonable. Finally, the finish of the watch is extremely nice considering its low cost. All in all the ADDIESDIVE “DEEPSEAHUNTER” is one of the nicest recreational dive watches I’ve owned and the sapphire crystal, with its slight curve and polished finish, is nicer looking (in my opinion) than the face of the ROLEX Presidents I used to own.

The low price does not mean cheap watch!
Great watch and unbelievable quality if you're a diver watch fan. You gonna love the look and feel. I compared it to my 500 dollars sieko "stargate" it more Than held its own! Definitely a keeper.

It's a very nice watch.
I was looking for a tool watch. I'd been searching for a Seiko baby Tuna, not the Street series version which is considerably smaller and doesn't look the same. I thought I'd found one$425, but it was actually sold out. Any that I found after that was at ridiculous prices. When I found this watch it was perfect. Has a good movement NH35, bezel and indices lign up, and it looks and feels great. I have no complaints. I love the dial and the lume is good. I personally can't stand Seiko's "5" series symbol and the Prospex symbols on the dials. I was settling on the Prospex Baby Tuna and I convinced myself I'd get use to the Prospex symbol and non-alignment of the bezel and indices, which are common with Seikos. I'm very happy that I didn't find and spend too much on a Baby Tuna. I got the type of watch I wanted for approx $190 as opposed to a $400+ watch that I wasn't all that thrilled with, especially for a tool/beater watch. The bracelet is surprisingly nice, it feels good. Unfortunately, I bought the watch so that I could put it on a thick leather band. If you're looking at this watch, don't hesitate. It's extremely nice for the price.

Not bad for the price. Under certain light, the dial does not look black
It's a pretty nice watch for the price. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the dial, at times, does not look black. It's more of a dark blue. The watch is chunky but that's what I like. The hands are brushed nickel (I think) where as the rest of the watch is really a brushed stainless steel (or at least a steel looking). The band is very cheap feeling. But I think that's be to expected for this price of a watch. My guess is the band will scratch easily. Overall I would recommend this watch to someone that likes this style of watch with the ideal that you're not buying a thousand dollar watch.

Punches above its weight
This thing is beautiful. I just got it earlier today and within minutes I fell in love. I hate reviews that say 'I haven't used it yet but it's great!' but I have to say, the looks and feel alone were enough to win me over. I've been wearing it for half the day and it's keeping time well, though we'll see whether that remains the case in a day or a week. I have several watches and they all vary in their timekeeping from the cheapest to the most expensive, so as long as it's close it's good enough for me. This thing is chunky! You feel the weight on your wrist, but it's not as if I didn't know what I was getting in to. It feels solid. It was super easy to remove a couple of the extra links in the bracelet, and it fits well. It's super easy to read, and the lume is amazing...I walked outside for a minute and when I came in I noticed how brightly it was glowing. I don't know how long it lasts, but right after exposure it sure is something to look at. Overall I thought this was a pretty good value for what you're getting. I got it on Prime Day so managed to get it for a small discount, but I think I'd be happy to pay full price now that I know how great this watch is. I may have to look into some of their other watches soon.

Boyfriend loves it!
I bought this for my boyfriend for our anniversary. He usually sends me a few and I pick out one that is a little different from what he already has. He told me this is by far the best watch he has recieved. He said he loves the quality and the color of it. He has a lot of Invicta watches mostly because he likes the large watch face, but he said the watch face is the perfect size and its one he has been looking for a while now.

Impressive. Even if it were several times the price.
After first purchasing the Addiesdive Capt. Willard and being blown away with it I decided to purchase the Deepseahunter and was equally impressed. I was able to adjust it to -4 seconds per day. I already own a Seiko Marinemaster and was eager to compare them. Besides the movements they are almost identical. Except the Addiesdive comes with the sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel insert which my Seiko did not. No it is not better than the Seiko but it is much more for your money comparatively. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing a Seiko Marinemaster . It is a great way to gauge whether or not it is for you without spending over $1,000.00.

Just Do It
I stalked this watch for over a year. I immediately fell in love with the look and style but the 47.5mm diameter scared me. I've lost count of how many times it was in my cart and all I had to do was pull the trigger but changed my mind. I was just convinced I'd be dropping money on a watch that was just too big for my 7" wrist and would spend much more time in the case than on my wrist. But I always seem to circle back around to it. This last time I finally said to myself, "Self, either fish or cut bait. This watch is driving me nuts." So the plan was to pull the trigger, immediately remove the bracelet, run it on a zulu strap for a week, and if my suspicions were correct, put the bracelet back on it and return it. Well, I'm four days in and can say definitively this watch is not going back and won't see the bracelet any time soon. The recessed lugs and probably the nylon strap made it wear remarkably small. I was truly amazed at how comfortable and unbulky it felt on my wrist. It really doesn't feel any bigger on the wrist than my Addiesdive Willard or a Casio Duro. Of course, being an Addiesdive, the movement, fit and finish are top notch. Just do it, you won't be sorry. I own lots of very nice watches but this one is truly a gamechanger.

Not bad - updated
Update - I’ve been wearing the watch on and off for a month now, works well but feels heavy. I replaced the bracelet with a silicone diver band I had from a citizen diver. It feels and looks so much better. Getting rid of the generic bracelet is an improvement. Also, there is no helium valve after all. - end update. For the price it’s actually not bad. Not really a diver watch. There’s no wet suit extension on the bracelet. The bracelet is a no name bracelet with a decent feel. The case is large and hosts a helium escape valve, not sure if the valve is cosmetic or functional. The bezel is unidirectional with one click per second, it’s a little rough and probably more decorative than functional, the digits on the bezel are small and most probably not visible in the water. The crown will screw down somewhat roughly and is decorated with a logo. The face is loomed and bright when light-charged. The movement is supposed to be a Seiko NH35A, an excellent low cost movement. The watch came in a “watertight” case, a nice surprise…
