I really like this case. It's basic, fits well and is designed to offer basic functionality at a great price. I was flying out on a trip just a day after I was slated to receive this phone. The Alcatel IDOL 4S is a superb phone. But it's classy exterior makes it difficult to handle without a case. I was going on a trip during which I was going to go over rough terrain by foot, take bus tours and take a lot of pictures. Given the sleek lines of the phone, it would've been a nightmare to handle the phone without a case.And Thank God that I ordered one. For some reason, I like the look of the case and after having owned the phone and the case for nearly a couple more weeks, I have ordered another case with a different color just because I wanted to get over the monotony of the Black color.Overall, great case, great price, great fit and pretty functional.

Ok, this case fits very well, not the most snug case I've ever owned but I very highly doubt it would come off during a fall. Although it appears to be a two piece case in the images it is not, which I personally find very appealing as I dislike having to Tetris together cases when I could easily just slip one on. The matte part on the back of the case is very soft, cushy and despite possibly being a foam insert, it feels very durable! The gloss outer bumper is a very soft and cushy(foam underneath?) feeling material. This case should provide great impact resistance, especially when combined with the glass screen protector that comes with the device. There is a 1/4" blemish along the seam just below the power button, possibly from where the mold drained, but it is almost invisible to the eye, although it can be felt when holding device (The blemish does not alter my 5 star rating).

Not what I expected. The case fits well enough, but the materials it is composed of are very soft and move easily when handling the device. It is very basic protection, but does allow for easier holding of the mostly slippery device. The case is made of a semi-rigid rubber material that slips over the device easily. The sides are smooth and glossy, the back is of matte finish. When using the volume buttons, power button, or touching the edges, the material that forms the bezel is extremely thin and moves very easily giving a sense of "cheapness" to the quality of the item. This said, it was not an expensive item, and it does fit the phone perfectly. I was simply expecting something with more rigidity. As with some others I looked at, the camera bump is still exposed outside the case fit. I will be seeking an alternative choice. Shipping was rapid and the packaging was very well put together.

I had purchased another case for my phone, but did not realize it was clear. I could have returned it, but the need for a case of any type out weighed the need to return it. Months later, I decided that a new case in BLACK is what I needed and wanted. This one has much better access to all the phone buttons, including the dedicated camera button. The old case made all the buttons difficult to use by comparison. And the black is much better looking than the clear.

The case is very thin and keeps my phone protected while not increasing the thickness of the phone.The case appears to be about as thick as a dime is thick. I have no doubt that this will keep my phone safe from the keys in my pocket or the occasional ding from sitting it down. The case seems to be just enough to be there, but not enough to really increase the size of the phone, which is nice.I believe that this case actually enhances the phone because of the niche for the finger print scanner on the back. Now I can find it without flipping over my phone. I am happy with the purchase. It was professionally packaged and arrived looking really nice.I would consider buying from J&D again.

Not a bad little case. It's a little flimsy, but it's not supposed to be a "rugged, indestructible" Otterbox-like case. It adds just enough protection to the phone, and also helps with holding the phone because of how slippery the glass back can be. Would definitely recommend to other Idol 4S owners who want something simple & clean, and would like the phone to have better grip.Just a note. If you have the Windows phone version, the Android & Windows models use the SAME EXACT frame. All cases/screen protectors for one, will definitely work for the other. Also, although this case is thin, with the case on, the phone WILL NOT fit inside of the included VR goggles. Not really a big deal as it's fairly easy to remove and put back on at any time.

A decent case for a good value. The back is matte rubber/plastic, and much less slippery than the Blackberry DTEK60 bare.I'm not sure if it was a conscious design decision or just the case fit, but although the camera bump protrudes slightly beyond the back of the case, because the top/bottom of the case bend out a bit from the back, the case rests on those high points instead of the camera bump, keeping it protected.It would be nice if the mold sprues were cleaned up a bit better.Overall it's a low-cost case that's decent for the money.

A favor, proteje bien y es ligera, no me gustó tanto que se siente "plasticoso" y queda algo floja. Preferiría que las botoneras también las cubirera. En fin hay muy pocas opciones para escoger al estar descontinuado. Cumple su función.
