Great Compact, Light-Weight, and Portable Docking Station with HDMI Port
The item works great and is portable and very compact and light-weight compared to other docking stations I've used and seen. At first, I thought mine was defective because it was loose and kept disconnecting from my ThinkPad; I contacted the seller about it and they were no help and didn't want to honor the warranty. Come to find out that the reason it was loose and disconnecting was because I would take the battery out of the laptop when I put it on the dock; a simple solution that the seller could have easily helped me remedy, but I'm happy I figured it out on my own. Multiple USB ports, an HDMI port (which is the primary reason I purchased it), and an ethernet port, as well as a locking mechanism with a key. Power cable is the same as that of the laptop, so you'll have a spare. Keep in mind that if you're using the dock, you must use the ethernet on the dock, not the laptop, for it work (I read someone say that was also the case for the USB ports, but my USB ports work on both the docking station and the laptop when it is docked). Also, this model is the one with an HDMI port; there is another model with a similar model number that does not have an HDMI port.

Works great
I have always owned Thinkpads, and always used Lenovo docks. But when I went to buy my new T450 a few months ago, I read the reviews for all the compatible docks on the Lenovo site...and they were dismal. Many VERY unhappy users for a variety of reasons. So instead I bought a StarTech USB3SDOCKDD external USB dock, which worked pretty well, but had some intermittent issues.Fortunately, I took another look at this dock, this time at Amazon, and found many happy users--and the price was right. I am relieved to say that so far it has been perfect. I already had DVI cables coming from all three monitors, and I wanted to avoid changing cables if possible. Here is my setup:Monitor 1: DisplayPort > DVI converter (which I bought on Amazon).Monitor 2: DVI connection.Monitor 3: Here I did not use the VGA connector, because I already had the DVI cable in place, plus I remembered that the VGA video did not look great when I used it in the past with earlier Lenovo docks. Instead, I'm using the same USB > DVI converter that I had used with the StarTech dock. And so far, no problems and no weird intermittent issues. Everything works just like it is supposed to.

Costumer service is insanely professional
I purchased a docking station for my thinkpad w540 (it was a build project) I was unsure if purchasing the docking station would act benefit my usage.. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean it was and set up was perfect. No issues at all with docking station at all.. I was given the wrong power supply.. They emailed right away apologizing and shipping out the correct one asap.. Very refreshing.. I will highly recommend them for their service alone

Awesome but you gotta pay attention when you connect it.
This is one awesome product. It comes with a power chord too so now I have two of them, which is great.I bought it for a w540. I am running three screens on it and using all the ports behind. Everything works perfect.I only do not rate it 5 stars because even though this is the docking station for the w540, it doesn't seem to be designed with the w540 in mind. The 'box' on the left, where there is the button for ejecting the notebook and the power button, gets in the way of half the notebook's exhaust. It does have a whole and a grid on it where it touches the notebook, then another small one behind. I guess this is supposed to let the air go through and not totally block that half exhaust. But it is not enough, the air passage behind is small so the air doesn't flow through freely, making this piece of the dock go hot sometimes. The other small issue with this dock and the w540 is the attaching of it. The w540 is too big so it doesn't follow the dock's inclination down to your desk. So, if you just regularly place the notebook on top of it, it doesn't click in so well, it is a little hard to connect it, and it stays a bit loose. But works, even though it feels it would damage the connection over time if you leave it like that. So, the correct way to do it is when you place the notebook, get a hand beneath the dock and push it up against the notebook so the dock inclination meats the whole body of the notebook below. Doing it like this makes it click in well. When you leave it sitting on the desk the dock is now correctly attached, touching the whole notebook. Now it is firmly into place. Notice the dock won't rest entirely on your desk, because the thinner part of it (closer to you) will be lifted away and touching the notebook above. With time the dock does lower a little, resting in the air between the notebook and the desk and not touching neither. I am considering getting some piece of rubber or anything to use below the dock and make sure it doesn't move. I am afraid this might damage the connector over time.

Turns my high end (W541) laptop into a powerful desktop computer
Works well with my W541. I'm driving a 55 inch 4K external monitor. Docking and undocking is simple and painless. I don't know if it is the W541 or Windows 10, but gone is the fuss of telling the computer to undock and having it often mess up and have to be rebooted. I just close the lid, putting it to sleep, turn the key and push the button to remove it. When I open the lid, I have my laptop in normal configuration.I would have liked serial and parallel ports, but they just don't make those any more. The video is a bit picky. Read the matrix carefully, because not all combinations that one might think would work do.

VERY Nice and so worth the price
VERY Nice and so worth the price.. Works perfect with Lenovo Laptop as long as you pre-configure the laptop settings. All plug and play. We use this with Dual External Monitors on a Lenovo Laptop. Just be aware that using with Dual monitors the output ports you have to ensure you use only ONE of each VGA or DVI or HDMI. Using a DisplayPort adapter the laptop has funky display results. Not sure if it's the Docking station or the video adapter on the laptop. For now, 5 stars.
