Denso 210-1131 Remanufactured Alternator (Renewed)

Installation on an '09 Sienna LE was a tight squeeze but I managed to remove and replace the OEM Toyota alternator without removing the radiator fan. I did the water pump and idler pulleys at the same time so the large radiator hose was already removed as was the oil dipstick and wiring around the alternator. I had an extra set of hands to help me and that was necessary because the 3rd bolt in back of the alternator is very difficult to reach and reinstall. The old alternator was working but made a loud noise, a mix of grinding and clicking. The shaft bearing was slightly worn but the main sound was from the pulley clutch. Make sure you remove the plus and ground wire from the battery before starting the work. The large wire on the alternator wire is HOT!
