Hi Josh, the C-35USB cable provides only charging with its USB connection. If you want to play the music via USB connection to USB flash drive, or iPhone or Android Smartphone - you need GROM-USB3 car kit.Thank you.

Hello, this is Travis from GROM Audio team. This cable is for charging (USB) and 3.5mm audio for the phone. It does not allow any USB playback. If USB playback is needed, different GROM car kit is available, called GROM-USB3. Let us know if you have any questions!
