Today we opened the hot tub after it was closed for the winter. We cleaned the hot tub, emptied out the antifreeze and filled the hot tub. Then it was time to add the filter and the chemical. The filter did such a great job (and the chemicals) that I had PERFECT numbers on the hot tub testing strip. This hot tub filter is the correct size and fit just as promised. Could not be more pleased. Try it, it works!

Perfect
Saw the negative reviews on this filter, but at this price was willing to take a chance. Even if it wasn't the one advertised, it was better than what I had and was much cheaper than the 89 dollar Watkins filters I had been buying. When it arrived, it was a Unicel filter just as was advertised and the thing I liked best was the big, Made in the USA label. It was cheap, and one of the better filters on the market. Arrived in two days and is now cleaning the water in my hot tub. I will definately order again.

Great price, but insufficient flowhrough in my opinion
The price is great but I find with this unicel filter causing my tub to trip. The indicator indicates that the flow through the heater is insufficient. When I put in my pleatco one, no issues. If you look at the inner tube, the unicel has small 1/2 inch holes spaced out whereas the pleatco one is like a cage inside with much more flow.
