Micro White & Black Adult Scooters (White Interlock)

I returned this and got the version without the built-in lock instead, because I hadn't realized that the lock would stick straight up from the handlebar, and that seems like a bit of a safety issue. If I hit a bump and fell forward, I think I could land on, or scrape against, the lock and get bruised. I'm pretty cautious, though, so you might not be concerned -- it's not as though the lock is sharp. Aside from that, the lock is ingenious and looks as though it would work well. The rest of this review is based on the no-lock version I've been using: It's sturdy, stylish, and convenient. While I wish the folding mechanism were a little easier to access, it works well, and the scooter is lightweight and pretty easy to carry on public transit. I'm able to go over cracks and bumps with no problem -- this is my priority, not speed. The brake works well. My only other quibble is that the kickstand can be stored pointing either forward or backward, so when I open it, (a) I never know whether it's stored forward or backward, so I have to tilt the scooter to look, and (b) it's too easy to push it too far into the other storage position by accident. I don't know whether the kickstand is designed this way, or whether it's adjusted wrong on my scooter.

Well made, smooth rolling on wheels. I like it and the Grandchildren also!
