Hindge is good quality and was packaged well, install was easy following U Tube instructions. Do a model research for parts, as I thought I would need two of these, I was wrong I needed only one and the other is a passive hindge (no spring).

I had to take apart the oven door to install this. Make sure you remember which way you took it off it's easy to get confused. Watched You Tube video a few times. It's Awesome though! This product saved me from buying a new stove!!!

I didn’t even remove the hinge from the package because I could see right away that it was in worse shape than the one that was being replaced! I think better quality control would be helpful.

Money saver
I thought it came jammed when I first received it because it was stuck in the open position. I installed it anyways and once I put the door on it came out of that position and worked! So happy I ordered from Amazon and not whirlpool’s website. Description of the product made it easy to know I was ordering the right part for my oven.

Original OEM part. fast delivery . The part come “locked” but just need to put both sides in same position then it unlocked after I could install and lock in place .
