Second purchase, new house need this door. It is loud, but we all got used to it. I like to know when the hounds come in and out. Followed the directions on introducing to our fur babies.

This was the 4th dog door I bought in less than 6 months because my black lab was ripping the flaps off the others and he has not done that with this one yet (over a month) and I don't think he will. Only issue was that because it's so loud when it shuts, my dogs were afraid to go through it for a while. I literally had to sit on the outside and bribe them with marrow bones to get them through. It took over a week but now that they use it we are all good:)

Decent, simple product. One could really construct this themselves for cheap. For the price paid, it should have came with a stopper bar and a knob or handle (rather than instructions on option to install this). In my opinion, overpriced.

WAY overpriced for what you get. 2 flimsy pieces of aluminum with sharp corners and a piece of plastic. This should cost half.

This cover did the trick. We had to add a handle on it ourselves though, or it would have been a bit of a struggle to open quickly. That's why I'm knocking a star off.

I am sure it works fine, but our dogs hated the door itself because of the noise it makes.

It works good. My great pyrenees dogs can get thru it. It's sturdy and made well
