Atom Pulse Outdoor Roller Skate Wheels

The media could not be loaded. These wheels are huge! 65mm x 37 mm is the largest I’ve ever seen. And with a durometer of 78A they’re nice and soft and grippy. These roll over pebbles, cracks, twigs, and rough asphalt beautifully. For me these have been like training wheels. After enough experience one could switch to something smaller like 62mm or 57mm. But as an absolute beginner, I have found these to be perfect for outdoor trail skating.

These wheels make the biggest difference when skating outdoors. They are grippy, but are actually faster and more stable than the Bont Street Flow wheels my skates came with. I used these with the Moto bearing and love them!!! If you are looking for a good outdoor wheel, these are awesome!

These wheels are so worth the money. I began outdoor roller skating on them, and with how smooth they roll over sidewalk cracks and asphalt, they really helped me feel stable!!

These wheels are the best I've found for outdoor skating! I had no idea what I was looking for the first time I purchased outdoor wheels. I bought a pair of radar wheels and it felt like I was working really hard to keep up with my teammates (Roller Derby) and they didn't roll smoothly. The gal I skate with outside was constantly ahead of me. I bought these wheels and immediately noticed a difference. They spin great, roll nicely, and were so easy to skate on outside!! I actually beat my friend now :-) They are durable and I have just ordered my second pair after using the first daily in the summer on the bike path from 7-20 miles at a time for 3 years. Best outdoor wheels!

Great wheels. They have the height, width, and softness I was looking for and in awesome colors. Waiting for the rain to let up to try them out.Only reason I took a star off is because the back sides of the wheels are dished and they rubbed against my trucks. Had to put a couple stainless washers behind each wheel on the axles to gain clearance. No biggie.

I am an avid outdoor skater which is highly unusual for the Chicago area especially the southside. I use these wheels on the streets and they perform very well. My first outdoor wheels were Moxis which eventually developed flat spots due to excessive T-stops at a skating marathon event. The Pulse wheels are pretty comparable but slightly lighter and smoother. I would recommend these wheels as they are a great performer and I plan to order a second set.

Ok so I have had these wheels about 3 months so far and I cannot complain. I use them on concrete floors, they are complimented with Riedell KWIK Swiss Nitride bearings. These wheels add speed & smoothness which need some getting used to but after you have them dialled in, its all go from there, the combination of these wheels and Riedell Bearings mentioned. will improve your ride. Little effort is required to move the roller skates. Initially the sideways slides are difficult since they grip very well but after a few runs and the outer gloss is removed a slide is easier and controlled. If you are an outdoor or concrete skater looking for speed and very little effort to move, this appears to be a very good choice but remember that this review is with using the Riedell KWIK Swiss Nitride bearings which account for a great percentage of the speed and reduced effort. Buy them!!!!
