Light Roast Whole Bean

Okay, been trying slowly to eat more clean and take out as many "toxins" as possible. I was late to understanding until recently that coffee (that I LOVE) has mold and other issues. So, I came to Amazon looking for organic single grown coffee, knowing that the reviews wouldn't let me down, and despite this coffee being a bit pricey for my budget, I opted to give it a try. OMGoodness, is it yummy. I justified the cost this way for anyone else that might be looking at it and thinking, "yikes, that's a lot to lay out for coffee." It is, yes at once. I totally agree, but when I look at what I was spending on grocery retail coffee a month and my sporadic trips to a popular coffee establishment in our area, I realized I was spending so MUCH more on moldy, multi-sourced, unhealthy coffee, so, I took the plunge, so glad I did. I recommend it and if in doubt try it, I don't think you'll regret it. Another mention, I can drink this completely black without adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to cut the "bitter" of grocery store brands, so that also is a win-win for me.

Excellent coffee!!! I have stomach issues and coffee was upsetting my stomach. But this coffee was heaven sent, I can drink it with no problems. I love it!!

I tried this Optimist along with the Heirloom brand honey coffee and they are both really good. This one has a smooth rich flavor which takes you away (like the old Calgon commercial 😊) to the coffee plants in the rainforest. No belly ache, no mold to make you sick (look up how many diseases are caused or aggravated by mold -WOW). And coffee has boron in it which is said to help decalcify the pineal gland. So many reasons to spend a little more and get exceptional coffee which is good for you, the planet, the growers and wildlife and save money somewhere else.

Excellent smooth flavor. I appreciate their ethical approach in providing quality coffee. Easier on the tummy. Sure it costs more, but that’s a choice we make. We never go to Star-shucks. We make one pot a day here at home. I also ordered some coffee mugs from HF Coors bc they use safe ceramics and they’re made in Tucson. Good clean coffee deserves safe/clean mugs.

I have gotten where I do not like regular roasted coffee. It is just too bitter. After doing much research, I decided to try this kind due to the reviews I read. It has made a wonderful difference in how I start my day. If you like a light morning roast with no bitterness, this should be tried. I have continued to order more, even though it is very high in price. More so than I normally would pay, had I not liked the tastes so well. If you like a strong coffee taste, scroll on as this particular blend is not for you. But they do make other roasts, which my Mom tried and liked. Since she drinks stronger coffee than me, I trust her judgement on that. it was the Medium roast.

I gave this to my dad who is a coffee lover for his birthday. He said as soon as he opened the bag it was no good and had been exposed to air too long or temperature abused because it was whitish colored instead of dark brown. I told him it was very expensive and we never had it before so just make it and let's see. He told me it was garbage and didn't want to waste his time. Well...we ground the beans fresh and used a french press like we do every morning and this was not coffee... it was disgusting and undrinkable. We through it out and I wasted a lot of money. Perhaps I got a batch that sat in a warehouse or ship for months, who knows...but it was not drinkable. It was putrid. I forgot to take the package with me and by the time I visited him again it was past the return date so I'm stuck with no refund. Buy your coffee from this company at your own risk. It is a gamble what you get.

Low flavor. Ground different settings and used different brewing methods trying to achieve some taste - not there. Don't recommend.

I have enjoyed this coffee and have used this for enemas. Works wonders!!

THat coffee was not great for my expresso. Lavassa is better and does not cost $28 for 12 oz.

It's okay, but has a somewhat outdated feel.

Excellent coffee. Will buy medium or dark roast next.
