Expected a bit better
I bought this and payed more for the HAWKE name behind it. I have a HAWKE scope on an air rifle and it is perfect/impressive for my application. I expected the same level of satisfaction for this monocular however, this unit fell short. First, (and perhaps affecting the second) the focus dial knob is not smooth. It is a bit rigid which makes it more difficult to stop precisly at the focal point of the desired object. Second, clarity is not as sharp as my HAWKE air rifle scope which did cost a bit more and prior to inflationary times. Perhaps the less sharpness is a result of a rigid focal adjustment resulting in difficulty finding the focal sweet spot or slightly less expensive optics or likely a combo of both. The monocular is NOT terrible! It does the job, it's is well constructed, claimed waterproof and will likely last beyond yours and your inheritor's life time. But it's not awesome for extra $.

Helles Bild mit randscharfer Optik, da kann ich nichts bemängeln. Ich wollte mir zuerst das 8x25 zulegen und bin froh, hier mit der Größe 8x42 die richtige Entscheidung getroffen zu haben.

Gutes Monokular
Das Nature Trek Monokular ist robust und wertig verarbeitet.Auch die Vergrösserung und die Augenanpassung sind richtig gut.Also sehr zu empfehlen.

A pocket size portable
Having used binoculars over many years, takes time to get used to it. However being much lighter and pocket size is a compromised advantage.

Really good - just don't expect anything as lightweight as an 8 X 25
Simply fabulous. I was looking for something lightweight that I could hang round my neck when I was photographing birds and this fitted the bill. I find it easier to use than the 10*25 that usually lives my glove box. It's bigger and heaveir than that of course. And it's not perfect - a spot of chromatic aberration is visible looking at birds perched on telephone wires. But it does the job perfectly, allowing me to enjoy watching birds when I put my camera down. At around. £75, it was a terrific bargain. I'd recommend it to anyone.I've given it five stars for picture quality but don't think that means it's perfect. It certainly doesn't compete with a borrowed Swarovski that cost way, way more than £75.:But at this price point. I think it's excellent.
