Sena R1 Smart Cycling Helmet (Electric Tangerine, Large) - R1-STD-ET-L

My husband and I both have this helmet. This is a game changer when cycling together. We love the connected intercom feature. We can communicate even when one of us is riding way ahead of the other. We enjoy our casual conversations while riding, can point out objects of interest, warn one other if an obstacle is on the road or path, and help each other navigate. It's not uncommon for one of us to alert that other that, "honey you've made a wrong turn!" We recommend these helmets to everyone we meet during our cycling outings. We've had them for a year now and have had no functional issues. They work great!

This helmet is quite amazing! It fits nicely and comfortable on long rides. Perhaps the best feature is that it has bluetooth capabilities which is a nice feature for me since I like to listen to different podcasts while riding my bike. The two side speakers give the rider clear sound and the front microphone allows you to answer phone calls with a touch of a button. The helmet also allows you to communicate with other riders up to about 1/2 a mile, provided that the other rider also has a Sena R1 helmet. My wife and I both have helmets, so we are able to talk to one another through the helmets. I highly recommend this helmet.

We had purchased 2 ebikes and needed a communication method instead of waving hands and yelling. These helmets are awesome!! It’s like being on a phone call with little or no other noise and great voice quality. Definitely recommend if you’re out cycling with another person on a regular basis.

These work marvelously, much better than walkie-talkies. Communication is clear even on windy days . The helmet is sturdy, weighs a little bit more than a my regular helmet. The helmet is very adjustable. Bought a visor for it manufactured by Sena, works excellently. I like to connect my phone and listen to Amazon Music when I ride solo. Fiddled around with the radio, it works, haven't ridden with radio yet. Once set up it connects to my phone flawlessly and upon pressing the correct buttons, it connects easily to the connected helmet in our group. Phone communication was very clear. It is great that I can use my phone's buttons or the helmet's buttons to answer the phone or adjust Amazon music's sound, or skip a track, or answer the phone. Google maps will talk through it, too. Really love this helmet and feel safer communicating with my fellow rider, announcing obstacles, upcoming traffic, and just talking. Very happy. Recommend.

Great fit for my big head. Very easy to pair to your phone and each other. The sound quality is very good for what it is. I am amazed by the microphone, very little wind or back ground noise. People will love at you funny as you ride by talking to someone who is know where around. They have a good range.
