With a little grinding on the board it was a perfect swap from my mk4 key fob. Everything lines up great and all buttons work.

Great upgrade for the MK6 GTi but,
I cannot find a case to fit this case for the life of me!! But, that’s fine, great and easy little mod for a new keyfob.

DO NOT BUY. HORRIBLE QUALITY Seller sent product after they stripped out the screw???
Have 90% of a key with my immobile er and all parts but the blade since they sinched the screw into place and stripped it to the point that it’s impossible to remove. Now I have a useless key and have to go to the dealership for a new key so I can drive my own car again. HORRIBLE QUALITY

Item works GREAT! BUT did not include sticker 4 fob
Product was shipped extremely fast (1 day), exactly as described, and is amazing quality for the price you get..HOWEVER, it did not come with the VW logo sticker/ or any sticker/cover for the screw on the back and i specifically looked for one with that as i saw in this listing in the Q&A section from a previous customer. Id be great if i could get one as it don't really look as good as it could with it and i thought i was getting one with purchase..that being said it works great id definitely recommendP.s. works great for Mk5 to Mk7 GTI key fob swap..def gives your fob a cleaner & more up-to-date look!
