These are fine in a pinch, but they drive me nuts.. J flex belts curl uncontrollably, so getting them on the grinder in the first place is always a bit of a pain.. They don't last a particularly long time, but they get the job done while they're still fresh.. At this point, I've pretty much stopped using them except to sharpen on my 2x72, its the best I use to establish my secondary bevel before moving up to higher grit norax belts.

I purchased these to sand my concrete/resin ring boxes for packaging. I ship out rings in these about four boxes a week so I needed a belt that would last longer for the finish. It lasts much longer than the traditional wood/metal sanding belts. It fits just right on my hand made belt sander great price and quality. The photo is of the belt after sanding the top of a box and cleaning it up with an abrasive belt cleaner. The box is showing sanded and not sanded sides.

Great belts for the money.

Good belts, but they bounce a little when the seam hits whatever you are grinding on. Tried adjusting the platen to no avail. Probably have to add some cork backing to it to reduce the effect
