Very relatable content!
Bought this for my husband who has just been diagnosed with G.A.D(Generalised Anxiety Disorder). My husband is not one for reading at all but he loves this book as he said he can relate to most of it and theres not a lot of fancy long words that he can't understand. Really pleased with it and would recommend to anyone going through Anxiety and depression.

After starting this book I feel better prepared for life's pressures. Helping me live in the now!
Self explanatory, selection! A lot of what read through so far is already known to me (saying that going over these things is very helpful and medication of its own. Tells you-you had the skills already. You just lost your way a bit this time. Think rest might hold some relievations.if not I can see from reading what I have, and trying a bit of meditation/mindfulness I am a much better version of myself than I was. I am more in control of how I respond and therefore take control. So yes, I would say give it a go. What's the worst that can come from it? Good luck xx

There’s hope!!
I haven’t even finished this book yet. And it’s helped meSoo much. You see. The things with books is, you could read hundreds of pages and out of them all it’s just one page that changes your life. That’s kinda what’s happening with this one expect 2x over PLUS I haven’t even finished it yet. This is a 10000% must have!

READ IT!
I would recommend this book to anyone suffering from an overactive chatter mind. If you can't sleep. If you want to understand your mind and your thoughts this is a great quick read. I'm not a fan of reading but am enjoying this boom. I'm about half way though and am looking forward to the solutions it may provide! It's nice to know I'm not alone or going crazy! It's just a habit I need to break

This feels like the production of a self-styled life coach with no credentials...because it is
This book is a collection of CBT and Mindfulness techniques, awkwardly mixed together with contradictions and mistakes throughout. I found myself giving up halfway through. For example the writer describes norepinephrine as a receptor and also mistakes in fundamental psychology concepts e.g describing anxiety as what causes the fight or flight response as in what one experiences when in a life or death situation like finding yourself in a burning vehicle i.e a well defined external threat; this is 'fear' not 'anxiety'. The two are well defined and distinct concepts but the writer seems to uses them interchangeably sometimes and other times tries to draw an incorrect distinction which is a bit misleading. You only need to look on Wikipedia to see why these are mistakes. The ordering is a mess, it's a more of a train of thought with sections flowing into eachother than a book. The grammar is overly colloquial, feeling more like a collection of blog posts than a book. In need of ordering and editing, and perhaps peer reviewing by a professional psychologist. It really feels like the product of a self proclaimed life coach rather from from someone who has earned the right to write a book on this subject matter, note that this is an Amazon publication meaning it was self published. This would be fine I suppose if it was in a space other than mental health where desperate people might find this at the top of an Amazon book search instead of a more legitimate (and likely more helpful) book.I'd recommend readers to look to peer reviewed alternatives.
