I am a nutritionist and have been taking ginseng for at least 20 years. I know of every form and age of roots etc. Geographic region does make a difference and certain ginseng roots from various areas have different healing properties. This particular Ginseng would be a warming type. One that is very stimulating. I really like this product a lot with a couple of caveat's. First, I would prefer double or triple the dosage per capsule. While it is a very potent product I end up taking two capsules a day. Second concern is price specially when you take two a day. I would like an older fermented ginseng product like 12 or 20 year old roots if we are talking Korea or maybe 8-10 year old American ginseng root processed in the same way! That all being said this is one of the best Ginseng products I have used. For energy it really helps but to get the real boost I have to take two capsules. When I do it really helps energy levels a lot. I have let the product dissolve under my tongue and the Ginseng flavor tastes like a quality product and I can feel a small boost as soon as it dissolves. Overall great product!! Would like cheaper options or higher dosages for long term or optimal dose use.

But I am soo glad my husband found this gem!

As a diabetic taking 4-500mg metformin a day I thought this might help. I have not noticed any lower blood sugars thus far, but I have only taken it for 5 days, so it might work still given more time. There is one undeniable thing that it does for me at least, I am sleeping all night without waking. Before starting this product I literally tossed and turned all night. Sometimes I have noticed the slightest touch of a headache, but noting unbearable and then it quickly dissipates all together. I like the blister pack because it makes it easy to keep track of how many I am taking. Taking as recommended I have not experienced any jitters or insomnia, as mentioned, I am sleeping through the night. I have never exceeded taking one a day. I paid full price and have no involvement with the company at all.

I have been having my memory recall get worse as I get older. I have been looking for something to help me pull-up the names of things I see in my mind but can't quite recall. I have been taking this product for two months now, and it seems my recall is getting better. It is not the same as when I was younger (I am now 68) but it is improving from before I started taking the Ginsei ginseng extract. And that is very encouraging. The cost is pretty high, of course, but it seems worth the money if I can keep my job as an engineer.

I wanted to add another positive review. I've been taking Ginseng for a while now along with DHEA and while the DHEA is straightforward, I feel a noticeable difference in the quality of the Ginseng over time. I've tried about a dozen types off Amazon but I had the best results from this one. It could be just me, but it works, so I keep getting it.

This is one of the best products I have used for ginseng. I take it early in the morning and it gives me natural energy all day long. I have a job where I have to be physical and it does well to balances me out. I don't feel stress also while i'm completing my tasks throughout the day. While taking these capsules I feel like my libido has increased and sex feels even better. I take one capsule a day. I notice effects on day two and day three when i continuously take them.I see that this product is now unavailable on amazon now which makes me sad. I want to get more of this product. Please bring this back. I like this stuff I will continue to buy.

Love this product, I work nights and this gives me the added boost I need without the jitters and no problems falling asleep when I need to. It also gives me an overall sense of well being which is a pleasant benefit since starting this product about 2.5 weeks ago, will definitely order this again. I did notice that as in the literature, if you choose to dissolve under your tongue for faster absorption, it is bitter and for best results I hold it for about 30 seconds before swallowing and then drinking something to remove the taste.
