Works great! Looks great!
I was having a little issue with some front end wander and shaking. I figured for the money I’d give this a shot. I first noticed how good it looked and how much more durable it felt over stock. It was an easy install, maybe 30 minutes for everything.

Making steering great again
Folks, let me tell you about the Bilstein Steering Stabilizer for the Ford F-250—it’s tremendous, absolutely tremendous. I installed this beauty, and believe me, the difference is like night and day. The steering is now tighter than ever, no more wandering, no more shaking. It’s like driving a brand-new truck, maybe even better. Some people say it’s the best hundred bucks they’ve ever spent on their truck, and I have to agree. So, if you want your F-250 to handle like a dream, get the Bilstein. It’s a total game-changer, folks. Trust me.

Quick easy upgrade for F250
Decided to replace the factory stabilizer early on to avoid the battle I expected later when miles and rust took hold. So given the 1K removal It was smooth and easy probably took 20 minutes. I am not going to say I could detect a huge difference over stock but I did like the sealed rod on the Bilstein and the gas charge. Great update for cheap $$

They changed the design
This is the exact part number from the Bilstein steering damper off my truck, 2018 F-350. Everything is different. It is about 3/4" shorter than what was originally on my truck. The one that came off did not have the post bolt configuration, but used the bracket. The post bolt does not fit through the steering arm. Had to perform a slight modification to make it work. Hammered out the post bolt, sanded out the rubber bushing, and manufactured a collar to insert into the rubber bushing. So far it's working great. Contacted Bilstein, and they can only find a suitable replacement from another manufacturer. We shall see how long this lasts.
