Vassarette Women's Smoothing Half Slip 11490

I ordered small because medium was not an option. I am still waiting to buy a medium I liked the way it fits.

I was looking for a smoothing slip to wear under dresses and skirts that was comfortable and I could still walk in. I finally ordered this slip after ordering many others on Amazon with no luck (Maidenform, Yummie by Heather Thomson, and Miraclesuit). This slip was the one! It fits small so order up. I am 5’7’ and 130lbs. I wear a size 4 and usually would wear a small in slips, but had to order a size large in the slip to make it work perfect. The only complaint is the side seams that could show on a few tighter items. Doesn’t ride up and isn’t the first item I want to remove after work! I just ordered the another color today!

My biggest problem with skirts, consistently, is that they ride up and bunch around my hips while the waist goes nowhere. I hear this is a problem when you have an "athletic" lower section, i.e. big booty and thighs, guilty. This slip smoothed everything out and doesnt ride up at all! Even better, the silky material of this slip kept my skirts from slowly crawling up my legs. I'm usually a large to xl in skirts and I bought this in large thinking that the more snug fit would help, I was right! I am 5'2, 155 pounds, athletic build

I ordered a medium but maybe I need a large. I didn't want to get it too big and then it doesn't provide any support. But a medium tends to ride up my thighs too much. I'm 5'4 and 130lbs but I have big hips at 38". I love the quality of the slip and length.

Ok. Slimming tummy line

Niiice. I was hoping for something a bit more tight. But it does smooth. I can breathe! It does not cut into the skin. Nor does it ride up or roll down. And is perfectly long enough. I'm 5'5" and it hits just above the knee on my short legs.

This half slip runs small. I'm 5'7", 138 lb, usually size 4 in pants, small to medium depending on the cut. Following advice I got the large thinking that if the slip is loose it will not ride up. Well, it fits just right (not tight). That said, it still rides up. Maybe it's unavoidable because of the slight compression. Next time I'll buy a non-stretch one.

The slip is comfortable for the most part. You can use it to smooth out imperfections too. It definitely rides up which is a bummer. It would get 5 stars if it didn't ride up.
