This was a great deal. It is very sturdy, very big, and nice to have on a rainy day. It was a lot less expensive than other smaller umbrellas that were being sold. The only downside I have noticed with this umbrella is the hand grip. The hand grip is made out of some kind of a rubber that has a strange odor. It does not really smell bad, but it is weird and will make your hand smell like the rubber when you use the umbrella. The smell has definitely faded in the few weeks I have had it so I suspect that it will fade completely in time. But in my opinion, it is worth having an odd smelling hand on rainy days for a few weeks for the money you save buying this product.

I ordered some new umbrellas from Amazon to replenish our supply. I ordered different brands and models, so I could test them out. I was happy with all of them, but this one is my favorite. It has a great handle, kind of molded rubber grip. The new thing seems to be the wind buster upper vent, great idea. The push up click is plastic, so knowing that, I will be careful and for me, probably won't be a problem. If I let my kids use this, it may not last as long. I would definitely recommend this umbrella and may have purchased multiple of this one, had I found it first before ordering some others. It was a competitive price for what you get or could find in a store. Going with free shipping, you can't beat it.

the product looks very sturdy and i bought 6 of them. All the 6 lasted for about a month. The plastic stick that supports the cloth breaks easily just in very normal condition. I have never used it in strong winds and i dont know how it will hold up. not a good value for $19.99. Get something that is made of metal to withstand stronger wind

OK so I haven't actually used this umbrella yet. It is HUGE and my compact, purse size one has been much more handy so far. However, some day I'll use it and I have high expectations. It seems very sturdy and large enough for 2, maybe 3 people to huddle under.One thing that I found distinctive about this umbrella is its strong odor. Seriously, I put the thing in the backseat of my car and my car smelled of new car all over again.

This umbrella is not windproof, which means it will still invert or break in winds, but will last longer than regular cheap umbrellas. The handle offers a great grip, and although the issue of it smelling has truth to it, it's not such a terrible thing as others claim. The parts seem to be rust-proof (I have had another windproof with metal parts which rusted over...)and should last a while if there are no strong winds. This one lasted me almost 2 years in NYC.

Very nice umbrella, but it sure is BIG. I measured out 62" before I ordered it and had 1 idea about how big it would be. When it got here; Whoa, this thing is a monster! It's actually a little more dome shaped than the picture, and two people can be covered comfortably. Other that the size surprise, it's a really nice quality unit.

I bought this umbrella thinking I could use it to withstand the high winds at Northwest Missouri State University, because when there's any sort of weather there, it's ALWAYS accompanied by gale force winds. Well I ordered the black umbrella and I triple checked it because they had multiple colours to choose from. The package came in earlier than expected, which was good, but they sent me the wrong colour. I ordered solid black as I said before and they sent me a black and white one. So I exchanged it and they upped it to one day shipping, which was nice of them. When I got the replacement, it was the right colour, which was good. I inspected it and everything looked nice, it was a very big umbrella, which was another reason I ordered it. I looked at it starting at the handle, I read on how it stunk and thought it didn't smell too terribly strong. The shaft seemed sturdy enough but the button to open the umbrella was just a mere strip of plastic that you push on to force the metal piece in. It felt incredibly flimsy as I slid the umbrella open. The arms were very strong, thankfully. But the reason I am sending the black one back is because I found many holes in the nylon. It looked like a cat had gotten a hold of it and used it as a scratching post! I'll put up a picture if possible. This company seems to be hit and miss, so be careful when looking at them.

Great umbrella, durable,flexible and light wieght. It works great. Lighting proof, it is made of carbon material and plastic.I live in Augusta, Georgia , and it rains so often that I feel like I am in a tropical rain forrest, but with this umbrella I can stay very dry.
