Just what I needed in my home. This is really meant for brick fireplaces, mine is a fieldstone fire place so the face of the fire place isn’t perfectly flat. I had to drill holes in the mounting brackets to get more reach but I made it work and I love it.

This was fairly simple to install. No drilling required!! The inside top was a little frustrating but that's mainly since I have never installed one before and it was difficult to squeeze inside to look at the inside top and awkward for me to see and work. Also wear a face mask! I didn't think I needed one with the small strips of insulation but my lungs were irritated after. I did wear safety glasses which I recommend as well. Overall great looking piece! I did something to the left glass door it won't close properly but it did coming out of the box so have to do a little tweaking. I watched the youtube installation video several times which was essential for me!

Not a perfect fit but still looks great! It’s a perfect option for an affordable fireplace cover without having to go custom. Installation was pretty easy.

This item replaced a much older all gold/brass colored unit which no longer fit the vibe and was not functional. This unit immediately elevated the fireplace aesthetic and is attractive, understated and sleekly streamlined. There were so many choices, I’m so glad I chose this unit. It is exactly what I needed from a functional and decor standpoint. The install was smooth, all parts were included and the doors and screens work flawlessly.

Seems to be well made and I think it actually looks better than the picture on Amazon. Very pleased with this purchase and the easy installation. Most of the work was cleaning out the fireplace and removing the old doors, then cutting them up so my garbage guys would take it. We wanted the bifold doors so they wouldn't stick out when we had a fire going. We also wanted the hinged screen doors as we've always had trouble opening and closing the pull type chain link screens on our old model. The powder coat finish is really nice. The packaging was great, no damage at all. Really quick delivery by Amazon, less than 2 days. Just a word of caution to make sure you get the right size unit. Mine fit perfect, nearly exactly the same as the one I removed. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. 5 stars for sure.

This avoided the high cost of hiring a fireplace store to install one professionally. Two of us installed it in 2 hours. The unit sits outside of the firebox, pressed against the edges of the firebox hole to cover it up, using clamps. No drilling at all. If the wall area right around the firebox is uneven or has gaps (such as a lumpy stone finish), the installation will not sit tight. Tips: 1) Watch their video on youtube. Very helpful, supports the printed directions. 2) Also make sure your floor is level or the doors will sit slanted at the top. Before installation, we had to level the hearth floor in our old home, that was the tricky part. We raised one side up about 1/4" on leftover matching hearth tile, extending out about 3/4" out to fit under the 1" deep unit. Then we put a narrow layer of mortar behind the whole base along the firebox opening, to keep any embers from creeping out. (This part not included in the 2 hours.) However, now that it's installed, light still shines under the crack when we've lit a fire. We're solving this by adding black coloring from Home Depot to mortar, and caulking the gap. (Our hearth tiles are black granite.) You have to be super careful what you use around a fireplace; materials that are not heat resistant will melt or crack (including paint) or worse, put fumes into your home (such as roofing caulking).

The product arrived on time and in good condition. I was able to install the fireplace doors by myself in about an hour and they look great in the living room.

Amazing quality, Delivery was to Amazon's quality = quick and on time as expected. Door installed exactly as shown in the instructions. Quality is beautiful the hinges and glass quality are perfectly finished, installation instructions clear hardware package complete. All in all this door feels and look like an expensive custom glass door at more than half the price. I highly recommend it.

Package arrived. Box was in good shape. All the contents of the fireplace glass was intact. Installation as super easy and this was exactly what we needed. Fit and finish are great.

Looks great and helps control the draft from the chimney.
