These are solid, sturdy mugs that you would typically find in diners/dives. They have some surprising weight to them - You do not want to accidentally drop these on your foot. However, that heft and its thick walls means it's going to keep your cup of joe hotter for a little bit longer than normal.One thing to note is that these mugs are 11oz which is just a shade smaller than the 12oz+ you find these days.

I bought these because I’ve always loved the mugs they have in diners! I use them almost every day. They’re very sturdy and dishwasher safe! I love them!

I never write reviews but I love these mugs so much. I have had Buffalo China for several years. They are made out of the natural clay from Buffalo, NY, chunky diner style. The Buffalo mugs from my set are small, 7 or 8 oz. I am so pleased these mugs match perfectly in true diner style and are bigger but not so large your drink gets cold! They are perfect!!!

Update: bumped my review from 1 to 4 stars. It took almost a month, but I did finally get a response from the company and received a replacement mug.These mugs are a great size and weight, EXCEPT one mug was defective. You have to go directly through the company’s support for resolution (instead of Amazon support) and I’ve sent 2 messages, but no response. I DID receive 2 follow up emails, asking if their customer service was satisfactory. I responded no both times and still no response. I’ll try calling their 800 number tomorrow, but irritated that I have to chase this down!

You have to have a coletti mug to go with your coletti percolator (if you don’t have one, get one!). It’s a plain & simple heavy-duty mug.

Came last night. Washed it and enjoyed my coffee this a.m. Felt like I was at my fav diner!

Some people said that coffee just taste better when served in these "restaurant style" cups. I didn't believe them until I finally purchased these for myself - but it's true! It must be some kind of magic or something because even the mediocre cheap coffee pods that use to taste like warm dish water in "ordinary" cups I used at home, actually taste like real good coffee in these cups. Can't explain it but someone should do a study to find out why or maybe they just don't want us to know? This is the only way to drink coffee. Their secret has been revealed. I will never go back to "ordinary" cups.

I like it simple, and these cups are great. The mugs keep my tea and coffee warm.The only thing I did not expect were that the handles are angled. It was a pleasant surprise though.
