It housing may not be as sturdy as the more expensive ones but it has auto gage guts!

low quality product
This is not an Autometer quality guage and is a 3rd party licensed product. The sweep is noticeably lagged and side by side with a quality tach you can see the slowness. It might simply be defective but the construction quality of this model compares to a cheap kids toy you would find in the bargin bin at walmart.

Used something else due to incompatible with 6AL
Autogauge tachs are not plug and play with the MSD ignition boxes like real AutoMeter tachs are. Interface box would be needed so I removed this tach. My mistake for not checking first...but...simple math...if you factor in the cost of the adapter/ interface box...the Auto Meter tach was actually cheaper and much nicer.This Autogauge tach is lightweight plastic and looks cheap. I don’t think it’s worth the $90 they charge. Somewhere in the $50-$60 range seems more appropriate.
