I already have a small water resistant blanket that's invaluable and has been used to keep me dry during a downpour but I was interested in this blanket due to the much larger size. It comes in a pouch which was smaller than I imagined but on taking the blanket out I was reassured, it's huge! It comes with pegs that can be used to stake it to the ground if you're using it as a groundsheet and it has zipped pockets in the corners that can be filled with sand or rocks to keep it in place (or used to keep things safe). It also has a handy pocket along one of the sides for storing keys, phone etc. The small bag that stores the blanket is actually attached to save it getting lost, which is a nice touch. I've used it on damp grass and wet sand and it has kept the water out admirably. It seems really well made, the stitching is good and the zips work smoothly. I'm not overly keen on the colour options but no other issues to report. I might not use it as much as the smaller blanket but for the occasions when I need a bigger, more robust option this will do the job without any problem at all. Overall I'm very pleased.

This product is everything that you could want in a beach blanket. It's big (I never fully appreciated how big the blanket was until I laid it out onto the beach), sand proof, water resistant and has four pegs to hold it down in place. The blanket is easy to clean and nver once struggled on a pebbled beach, on a windy day. There are four zip triangle pockets where you can put sand in to weigh the blanket down and it can be folded up into the poch provided. All in all, a good product.

Finally used this a week back at the beach, meet our butt's dry on damp sand, easy to set out and wiped sand off at the end of the day, good size for two people and have a good picnic. Recommend.

I cannot recommend this beach mat enough. Comes in an easy to pack away pouch, its lightweight considering the size , and easy attatched to the ground. Two people can fit on it so easy. So easy to pack away , very handy will be taking it with me to Tenerife in June.

We used this on windy beaches in Naxos. Works well once tge pickets are filled with stones or sand . Easy to pack away once you've got tge knack to it . It could do with a couple more zipped pickets on two sides to be perfect.

It is a large towel/rug that is ideal for the beach, but I thought that sand would go through the towel (I am probably wrong) - but it doesn’t! But it does give a large area to pass yourself from.

Very pleased with this product. Very lightweight, and folds down into a very compact size, so doesn't take up much room in your bag if going to the beach or for using at a park for example. The hooks it comes with come in handy for securing it down. The smooth material makes it very easy to brush off any annoying sand etc. A very good size for two adults to completely stretch out on if at the beach etc sunbathing. I've taken this abroad with me too on holidays as it's so light and compact, you barely notice it within your packing. I can't rate it's water resistance simply because I haven't gotten it wet. Great value, very pleased with the beach blanket.
