I like these pastels for the large variety of colors. I did not realize they are half size sticks. They also came without plastic protection so the colors transferred to each other needing to first be cleaned before using. They work well on drawing paper. I have been using them for a community art class that I am teaching. The students like them as well.

Very pigmented. I've been using eyeshadow so these are a definite step up.

I was a bit surprised that they are as vibrant and as highly pigmented as they are for the price. I wish they came in a slightly nicer box/container, but heck, for the price, can't really complain. For the money, they are spot on. Good purchase.

I really liked these pastels and was the first time I used pastels. I liked the choice of colors to use.

I use these to make doll faces. Very nice to use with dry paintbrushes.

I use these chalks for repairing chipped ceramics. I use a color wheel to choose the chalk colors, that when mixed, will match the surrounding glaze. I start by shaving the chalk colors with a knife and mixing them until I get the correct final color. Then I add epoxy, blend the mixture, and make the repair. I have used these chalks for 6 months and the colors I mixed have not yet faded.
