Rainbird ESP4ME 120V Modular Outdoor Controller

This was an upgrade from my older ESP control panel. My older one would do weird zone cycles and different watering durations so I know it was just at it's life end. This model is absolutely perfect, everything is plug and play, easy to install, and with my new wifi module, I can now control my system through my phone. Rain Bird you guys rock!Well, I'm back to the same issue I had before, all 6 stations work if I manually turn them on by hand, good water pressure all wiring tests are good. The Controller shows that a station is watering with a flashing icon and gives me the remaining minutes of watering left but no water at all, I guess I will try another name brand as I've been through two Rainbird controllers now. At least I can water my grass by turning on each station by hand.

I read the reviews on this model and i was advised that this model replaces my old model ESP-M that came with the house when built in 2005. I am glad i bought this model ESP-4ME. The wiring and all the mounting holes for the screws are the same. I had to buy another Module Because this unit only comes with 4 zones and I have 5 zones.It will take some time before i become proficient with its use.

Arrived as scheduled. Replaced an older Rainbird model. Very easy to install. However the older model was easier (for me) to program. This control worked as advertised right out of the box. Price for the control was reasonable. The model comes with one control module which covers four stations. I added modules from my old control to cover all my stations. I felt that the price of new additional control modules were pricey. The new modules are each priced about half the cost of the ESP4ME with one module included. Very pleased with this control

Was pretty easy to install but very difficult to program. You need a degree in engineering

I replaced my ESP Modular with this ESP ME unit and was very easy to install. All predrilled holes on previous unit lined up perfect and wired in exactly the same. The modules within the unit are the same as my previous unit so it saved me big bucks not having to buy additional ones to run all my zones. Although the programming was different it was very simple. These unit has been installed for 3 weeks now and works as it should.

Some settings are a little difficult at first to understand but the unit more than meets the expectations. Several options makes the unit more versatile and fun playing with the settings. Would recommend this unit to those wanting one of the Best. This one came with a pigtail but was easy to hard wire.

The unit was easy to use and install

The unit to be installed was a pain. However, after much sweat, blood and tears, I got it installed. (There was more blood than tears). However, it is very easy to use and to program.
