The Fastest Game in Town
This SSD is fantastic. It benched at READ: 1228.36 MB/S and WRITE: 880.54 MB/S with USBFlashSpeed tester. That about 170 below the stated READ speed and 280 over the stated WRITE speed. I'll take that. I used this on a recent build using an i7-6700k processor, 32GB DDR4-2400 MHz Skillz Ripjaws RAM, ASUS RoG MAXIMUS VIII GENIE MOBO, with the Kingston HyperX Predator SSD as primary drive, 2x Western Digital 3TB media drives in RAID 0, MSI Nvidia GeForce 970 GTX graphics card, and Corsair H100i GTX liquid cooling system. Using the built-in overclocking 'tweaker', the processor overclocks by 15% and the RAM overclocks to 2500 MHz. This SSD is a beast and makes the whole Windows 10 PC scream. Benchmark test using Performance Test 8.0 come in overall at 6620 - which is five stars in every rated category. From off to Windows loaded is 8 seconds (minus the three second POST delay built in). Be warned - the M.2 SSD format ties up two SATA slots (1 and 2 out of six on my MOBO) but is completely worth it for the read/write times.

Another fast M.2 drive and will work fine on Legacy UEFI drivers
Runs fast just like the SM-951 just slower by a 1000 Gigs or so LOL . Runs fine on Legacy UEFI Drivers unlike the SM951. Don't expect any help if you buy from RAMCITY but mine came from Amazon I think ??CON: on my X99 Asus Deluxe this drive run in the MB M.2 Slot keeps my Drive light on all the time. Better read this statement again as this is a real bummer. Kingston told me it is their drive causing the problem. however, if you run it in an interface board and use a X2 slot the drive light works fine. Kingston says they will fix this drive light thing, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Kingston - Samsung and most, get your money you can pound sand as far as they are concerned, they are doing nothing but we keep buying their stuff. BEWARE.

Great throughput but some issues remain
I was apprehensive about this drive after reading so many negative reviews on Amazon. It took a bit of patience to get my motherboard to detect this unit and a whole lot more to install Windows 7 on it. With the latest FW update, the major issue was ironed out but the LED is now constantly on. And while I still have not installed Windows 10, I think I have accepted the shortcomings but it's still bugging me. The main advantage of this unit is that the speeds are well above my Samsung Pro SSDs at 1000MB/s read and 700MB/s writes. And no more cabling.. However that was not why I purchased the unit, it was because I needed a drive and this was purchased at Amazon at a very competitive price.

Great Drive for Desktops--Laptops, not so much.
Purchased one of these to replace the base 128gb SATA SSD in a Dell XPS 13 9350 (Skylake). These systems can be ordered with PCIe SSD's directly from Dell so support for this drive was built in. Upgrade went smooth and had no issues doing a clean install of Win 10 via USB even though the "Predator" did not arrive with the latest firmware. Flashed the firmware afterward and it has been running great. Reads and writes over 1400/600 MB/s as advertised.UPDATE--Ended up returning the drive. Nothing wrong with it overall, just that it's not well suited for a Laptop application. The excessive heat and reduced battery life just were too high a price to pay for the increased performance.

HyperX Predator 240GB - LOVE IT!
I love it! Blazing fast. It arrived in perfect condition and works as expected. Easy install. I won't post any benchmarks as there are plenty out on the internet you can find. I use it as a boot drive and windows 10 pops open in less than 10 seconds...I'm amazed. I installed a few games on it, Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, and Bioshock Remastered and the load screens are no more than 5 seconds and sometimes even just 1 or 2 seconds...never going back to mechanical drives again. Kingston HyperX Predator 240GB is my new best friend :) I highly recommend it to anyone willing to pay a little extra for that premium quality speed and durability. You won't regret it.

More faster than conventional SSD, Double perfomance of your pc
I recently bought this product for my gaming pc and I'm really happy. I already had a ssd (type m sata) 480gb brand Crucial, and my computer was already fast, then, when I put this one, it was a world of difference the performances of my computer have doubled (has you can see my normal SSD read speed is around 377mb/s on the Kingston hyper X Predator it's around 1205.7 mb/s), it's the first time I have a computer so fast, windows 10 run really smooth, and reactive. If you are looking for a ssd faster than normal to double your performance, do not hesitate, buy this one. Excellent product

Youtube reviews really gave the impression that this was blazing ...
Youtube reviews really gave the impression that this was blazing fast, the truth is that you only notice it when starting up and when doing the obnoxious windows 10 software updates.Skyrim with mods is the biggest test of your hard drive's capabilities to deliver lots information. Many large texture files, lots of small mod files. The combination results in a ton of reads. I have 16 GB DDR 4 RAM and 2 GTX 980s along with this SSD and I've noticed only a small decrease in load times with Skyrim. Is it enough to justify the cost of this device over a standard SSD? I'd say that as an enthusiast builder of a gaming computer: yes. As a person building a budget gaming computer: save your money for a different SSD or to ensure to put it into a CPU upgrade.

Love this little m.2 SSD
I have a home-built desktop PC. I'm using an Asus Z97-A motherboard. This M.2 SSD snapped into place with very little effort. Win 10 boot up recognized the drive and it's functioned flawlessly. I use it to hold my Win10 page file, the Google Chrome cache files, Internet Explorer temp files, and any other applications that require the use of "temp" files (Word, Excel, Pinnacle Studio, Google Earth, et al). Dramatic performance increase. It's capacity is small enough to keep the price down but large enough to handle all of my temporary file requirements. VERY glad I have this little drive.
