yes, some residue will be left behind, but easily cleaned with windex or other cleaner

Q: How much dimmer is your lights after applying tint?

Not that much dimmer at all. I put it on fog lights, and on clear covers to put over my pods. The light wasn’t diminished. In fact, it let a lot of light through. I doubled the tint to see through the snow. Some had reports of it looking green, put I bought quality pods, and it looked yellow.
