Yum!
I bought this for a healthy version of hot cocoa, then discovered it was delicious mixed into cold milk. If you loved Nestle quik as a child, but thought that guilty pleasure was out of your dietary reach, this will bring you happiness. Much richer tasting and healthier as well! It needs to be mixed well to dissolve, so use a shaker or small immersion blender if you have one.

Surprisingly better than I expected
This is probably the tastiest low calorie hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Since I’ve been watching my nutrition I’ve switched a lot of things to either Stevia or Monk fruit and this was very surprisingly delicious. It’s a great way to end a hard day and wind down.

Very sweet!
I've been looking for sugar free hot chocolate mixes and thought I found one. The Lakanto mix disolved well I mixed 2/3 hot water and 1/3 milk in a 12 oz. cup. It is incredibly sweet and I don't know if I will drink the rest. Probably give it to a neighbor. Some time ago I purchased a different "sugar free" hot chocolate drink mix. Except, the sweetener was maltodextrins, which is SUGAR! I wish I could buy hot chocolate mix without any kind of sugar, that would be perfect. Hey Lakanto - this would sell well!!!

Very Rich (In a Good Way!)
The most frequent complaint I've seen in other reviews is that this product is overly sweet. This "downside" actually encouraged me to buy the product in the first place. I have a condition where my sense of taste is muted, so I need flavors to be on the extreme side in order for me to be able to fully appreciate them. With that taken into account, this drinking chocolate mix is outstanding. In fact, though I usually make hot chocolate with almond milk, I prefer this mix in hot water instead, because the flavor in milk ends up being too rich even for me (it's like drinking liquid fudge). This is something I've very rarely experienced. I like topping this up with a splash of almond milk for some added creaminess, but I don't need to add extra sweeteners, which again, for me, is new. Despite the cringe-worthy price, I love this stuff so far above and beyond every other low-carb/cal hot chocolate mix out there that I stock up on it pretty much every month. If you like your hot chocolate on the rich side, this product is for you. I'd suggest not exceeding the recommended serving size; maybe add extra water/coffee/milk to cut the sweetness if need be.

NO! You changed the Recipe! CHANGE IT BACK!
It was rich, it was chocolaty, it was smooth, it was utter perfection. I told friends I told neighbors, I told family, I made posts online about it, it was in my coffee EVERY SINGLE MORNING.Then…the purple package showed up. Hmmm…maybe they fixed the package that wouldn’t stay closed? Yup, finally. Then I tried it.No No NO NO NO! What have you done? It went from pure bliss to…hot chocolate mix.Maybe I had an off day. So…again the next morning. Nope. THAT RICHNESS…GONE. THAT DEEP CHOCOLATE FLAVOR? GONE.In the words of Zorg from the Fifth Element…I…am…VERY DISAPPOINTED.Got through the bag…then discovered I still had one of the old brown bags left and broke it open this morning…Yup. Confirmed, the new stuff is a pale imitation.Bring back the old formula! I’ll pay more. I don’t care if the bag doesn’t seal…that’s why clips were invented. I’m currently scouring stores for case of the old inventory but CHANGE IT BACK!You have angered the Mocha Gods. My mornings are ruined.CHANGE. IT. BACK.

WOW! I Get to Enjoy Winter!
While I'm super excited to be cleaning up my lifestyle and improving my health, I've been super bummed about missing out on some of the sugary sweet indulgences I associate with the holidays and winter season. What's winter without hot chocolate? I am not doing keto per se, but definitely am reducing my carbs and avoiding excessive sugar.I happened to search a forum for ideas on lower carb hot chocolate and saw this product mentioned.I ordered and ,frankly, I'm flabbergasted. I still can't believe there's an option that tastes this great!A few of things to note:1. When you're super conditioned to super-sweet drinks and snacks (and most of us are), your first sip may taste a little "less sweet". Get through your first cup and your taste buds will adapt and say "Oh, that's actually plenty sweet!" It literally took a few sips for my brain to adapt to the slightly less sweet (but totally sweet enough) taste. My next cup, there were no adaption sips necessary. Brain 100% satisfied.2. Someone complained about the zip-bag. I don't understand this. It's extremely simple, and there's no reason you should have drinking chocolate powder exploding out of the bag unless you've done something silly. Tap your bag, like you would any powdery product to be sure it isn't at the top, open, make your drink. Super simple, folks.3. I'm used to just adding water to instant hot cocoa mixes, so I'm fine with doing the same with this product. However, I can definitely see that a dollop of whip cream or using warmed almond milk would give it a thicker/richer texture some people may want. I'm totally fine without that.4. Stir it well and get to the bottom of the cup with that stirring. It'll dissolve well if you just stir!I am so happy with this product, and I just find "drinking chocolate" such a snazzy name too. "I'm going to have a cup of drinking chocolate" is my new favorite line at home. Say it with your preferred accent!
