Silicone Pastry Brush - Profound Aquamarine (Blue/Teal/Turquoise)

I've needed one of these for years. I love this, the color, the size (I don't grill my hand) and how easy it is to clean. Came quickly too!

At first sight, I was worried this brush wouldn't really do the job well. The bristles are much larger than any other brush I have had in the past and I wondered if the oil would actually stick on them to spread on pastries. It turned out to be quite the contrary, tons of oil stuck on the bristles. So that's why I deducted one star. Even though I dip so easily, a large amount of oil is carried on to the bristles and into my pastries.Overall, I am really satisfied with this purchase. I got the pink brush, but there are other colors and it's nice to have that pop of color in my kitchen. The quality so far seems really well made and would last a while. It is so much easier to clean this brush (maybe because of the big bristles), than it has been to clean my other silicone pastry brushes.*I received this product for a discounted price my honest and unbiased review.

These pastry brushes, because they are one solid piece, stay clean in a catering kitchen environment and, over time, continue to work beautifully. I highly recommend these!

Does as advertized

This is a nice, vibrant pastry brush that is sturdy & seems to be well made. The only pastry brush that I have ever had in existence previously was this obnoxious wooden bristle brush that would give you splinters and be impossible to clean. This brush is a nice size (and splinter free) and is very easy to clean. I would give it 5 stars, but when I received the brush it had something like sand or little dirt particles all over it. This is something that will easily be cleaned off, but I just wish they had a better packaging system as it was just loosely thrown into a small, open plastic bag. Other than that, I think this is a great brush & is offered at an affordable price. Plus if you are like me and are obsessed with a certain color, then it's always nice to have something your favorite color! :) Disclosure: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I got this pastry brush in the color "Spirited Flamingo." It is true to color and good quality. It is made up entirely of silicone on the outside, but the inside of the handle is firm. The brush has a nice heaviness to it that I like a lot. There is a hole for hanging it or you can store it in a drawer or cup. The handle is very comfortable because of the size and the silicone. The brush is made up of silicone strands. They are very pliable so they do a good job of brushing pastries and other foods. You can use the brush to brush butter, oils, sauces, etc. over pastries, meats, bread, and so on. My first use of the brush was to brush butter on some dinner rolls and it worked perfectly, spreading the butter everywhere that I wanted it and with ease. Clean up is also simple. This brush can be washed by hand or put in the dishwasher. I clean mine in the dishwasher and it comes out looking and working perfectly. The brush is one piece so there are no cracks or crevices for food to stash itself, making clean up even easier.This is a good quality brush and a great buy for any kitchen.I received this product for free in exchange for product testing and a review.

This Silicone Basting brush is very useful to me since I love baking and cooking. It's spread the stuff easily and evenly. And the fact that it's silicone makes it wonderful coz it is so quick and easy to clean, and dishwasher safe too! Unlike the ordinary brushes kinda like the paint brush and when you let something sit on it for quite a while it's so hard to remove and it just get stuck on the brush. But with this silicone brush, everything comes off quite easily and it doesn't get frayed and just stay the way it is and don't get deformed. I also like that it's not tiny nor too big, the size of it is just about right for anything.
